If they cause us to start looking up instead of nervously down that will do for me. Ending the stagnation that the club has endured for 8 years will be refreshing too. I’d be alarmed if we started spending money crazily - let’s just keep on unearthing cheap gems like we used to on the European market and more recently South and Central America and keep a healthy turnover of players at profit. I do think Williams’ days as manager are now definitely numbered should this take over get the green light . |

Yes we didn’t get our just reward today - I didn’t see the handball real time so I can’t comment but the referee had a decent game apart from the possible sending off he missed. Must be the Scotty Parker magic - they certainly did nowhere near enough for the three points. I just hope they get mad and take it out on Leeds in a fortnight |

It really is Bizarre - especially when there wasn’t an official capital until 1955 ! It’s not exactly a historical capital city but they compare themselves to Parisians lol |

It’s all about the sum of the parts - Brendan proved that in our first season in the PL. I’d love Downes back, Connor , Piroe and maybe even Fabianski. We’d likely come down but hopefully utilise our PL money wisely to rebuild and go back up. |

He did the same when Downes was here. If Soton go down and we go up I’d love him playing alongside Franco |

Always has a multiple o when Cardiff score though. Foot in both camps I suspect |

A city that has always had the capital tag weighing it down heavily and they are desperate to justify themselves in every way possible, but disproportionately over us. That’s why Glamorgan County Cricket has been ripped out of St Helens and they also propose the Ospreys culling despite being the only really successful (and by definition thr only true) rugby region within Wales. This is after bankrolling the Dragons for years who hardly win 4 games all season historically. They always point the finger at us being inferior when it’s their own inferiority complex driving them to do so. Sam Hammam said the quiet part out loud when he belittled our fine club and tried to tell us we should be supporting his Welsh “super sleeping giant” of a club (that was never considered a giant by anyone before or after). If we had have gone t*ts up in the Petty era Swansea would now be a sporting wasteland and that would sit well with them in the “Capitol”. |

Anyone who can scout the European and South American markets in a must. We are finally starting to see some good cheap players coming in . Much rather this than average championship players with high wages and no sell on value |
