Still pinching myself that we've got him. He is a top pro who will serve us very well this season. Any club outside top 7 would have signed him IMHO, but you have to had it to redknapp as he is the reason rio signed for us |

Totally agree, we go on about mercenaries and rightly so as we've had a few, but the bloke has signed a 1 year deal when I am sure he could have got much more on a longer deal abroad.
Clearly he wants to play prem football so that should say something about his desire and attitude.
Top signing, as much for what he brings to the dressing room if nothing else, although agree with later post the kit looks shocking!!
I wonder if some of our fans have learnt anything as you cannot compare him to Mbia Park etc.. |

Taraabt got us up almost singlehanded and held his own in prem. I would love nothing more than for him to commit to the club but he doesn't want to be here. If last season taught us anything it was that we need players who want to play for our club. Look how far it's taken us this year. The rest can bugger off, including taraabt. |

My lad is 9 and I swear my nephew who was also there was sobbing with joy. It just doesn't get any better than that today. I can honestly say that goal gave me the best feeling I have ever had in my life. |

I actually thought our fans were great. I was near halfway and we out sung them up until the sending off. Even then they could have been a lot louder. After the sending off we were subdued but that's not surprising given we lost any attacking threat, until....... The last minute! |

Let's be honest, we know how they feel after Cardiff did it to us in their home town in the last minute. So what their players did was a exceptional. I also noticed quite a few fans stayed back to applaud their players so fair play, first class. |

Just back from Derbyshire having put tent up for missus so she can still go on hols tomorrow. That was my punishment for screwing up our hols so I could go to the game. Tbf she has not moaned too much. On the way back I remembered all the dark days following the r's and realised what a great moment this is!! What a day to look forward to!!! |

R's fans never cease to amaze me with things like this. I'm lucky enough to have my tickets but I can only imagine the feeling of some poor sod missing out for whatever reason and then being given a lifeline from a fellow r. Hats off to anyone who has helped. |

I'm on a family camping trip in Derbyshire of all places on 24th. So I've managed to convince the missus I can drive up the day before and set tent up etc then drive back Friday night so she can still go on hols on sat and I get a day pass with my son and meet up with her on Sunday!! |

Totally agree there's nothing wrong with that at all. I will be trying to get 2 more tickets on Sunday for my cousin and his boy as they have used my ST whenever I haven't made a game. As I said though, maybe on reflection loyalty points should have been part of the allocation, as it would have taken care of those that have been a few times and especially to away games. In truth i've had loads of people calling me assuming I could get them a ticket, why oh why did they not just become a member?? |

Well I really do hope you get a ticket mate, there should be enough to go around if people are sensible and don't try and make money out of it. I don't blame you one bit for not using touts and I certainly never would. It just makes the problem a whole lot worse.
On reflection, maybe loyalty points should have had some priority, I've heard a few fans on here saying they've done a number of away trips this season which rightly earn plenty of loyalty points so for those people I think they are entitled to feel a bit aggrieved. Apart from that though I think the allocation is fair enough. |

I've read with interest today the problems with people getting tickets. I remember something similar with Leeds when we got promoted. You would think people would learn a lessson!!
Just to put my thoughts on it (not that it matters) I think they have got it about right with the allocation. I feel for TF as he has tried to give ST holders an advantage, but to guarantee members a ticket he has had to do 2 separate phases for members otherwise if he said 2 tickets each for all members and ST holders, there may not be enough to go round. I think it is absolutely right ST holders get 2 each, I just hope they do not find their way on to the black market, as that would be wrong. I have used my 'extra' tickets for my brother and his kid, as at least they have been this season. But there is a part of me which thinks they should have got membership. Everyone knew the play-offs were a very real possbilty, so why not just be a member? Otherwise what other way is there to allocate tickets? Maybe i'm being naive but I hope a ST holder or member would be far less likely to flog a ticket for profit than the general public?? |
