| News Comment | Swansea City get 20 million investment : Levien & Kaplan go ! at 12:32:24
Great news for Swans fans regarding Levien & Kaplan moving on! However, if the last two games don't point out why our soon-to-be out-of-contract defensive duo need be re-upped, then nothing else will. They deserve a pay raise! Our best teams over the years always had that strong "spine" down the middle, and both Darling & Cabango are 2 pieces to the puzzle that are very much needed moving forward. |
| News Comment | Does Luke Williams trust his academy options ? at 15:48:44
Williams is sending a message to the Swans Academy that he has more confidence in other club's training and personnel than Swansea's Academy Program's. That is so sad! If the current owners really want to cut costs, then just get rid of the Academy, its coaches, players, and other support persons, and just look to the market for players. |
| News Comment | Chance after chance as the Swans draw another blank at 01:07:18
A positive from this game is that Swans didn't lose it after not scoring after so many opportunities in the 1st half. How many times have we watched such wastefulness and then suffer a 2nd half collapse. Vigo, Cabango, & Darling, along with good team defense and a little bit of good fortune allowed Swans to remain undefeated at home. |

Sadly disappointed no Wilson, Parker, or Govea listed in the team. Why not start Allen in place of Grimes? Doesn't he need a rest like Franco in this stretch of 3 games in a short # of days? Put Parker in for Ronald, or at least have him on the bench to come in for him or Eom. |
| News Comment | Andrew Coleman : I don’t know if the club is up for sale at 17:12:49
"Our conclusion is that Andrew Coleman has a very good way of talking and saying not a lot." Spoken like a "true-blue" American Democrat! Good at not answering the question at hand, deflecting it to others, and moving the discussion to other topics, especially personal ones. |
| News Comment | Swansea City The genuine facts on this summer’s transfer problems. at 14:04:20
If your premise is correct, and I believe it is, then Swans should give their young stars more time on the pitch, and hopefully one or two of them will display the necessary skills & mindsets that show they deserve more playing time. Play those players who come up through the youth ranks like Josh Thomas, Sam Parker, Aimar Govea, Kyrell Wilson, Filip Lissah, & Azeem Abdulai. Find out which ones will really stick and which ones need more time or need to be moved on. |
| News Comment | Swans fans deserve this to be treated as a derby game at 11:36:09
You're correct! If Matt Grimes takes on the same attitude as his manager toward this game, then Swans will come out losers. The midfield has to show good, proper form in order to get a result. |
| News Comment | Ogbeta out in the cold … Nothing from the Swans as his contract is due to expire at 21:36:52
Who in the Swans hierarchy allows this to happen? Goodness sakes, at least try them on for size and see if the shoe fits! Ogbeta, Kukharevych, Whittaker, Gyokeres, who else? Wasteful and not helpful, and in the latter two could have led to multi-million sales.. Drives me nuts when I see/read about how managers & admin recruiting dept can't get on the same page. IMO, a lot of the blame has to be directed at the manager for not even giving these youngsters a chance to show what they can do. |
| News Comment | Major injury blow plus Williams puts his squad on notice at 16:11:25
In the past, Grimes has been Mr. Steady Eddie, a dependable passer & leader on the field who directs the flow of the game for his team. Lately, he hasn't been on top of his game, but neither have a lot of his teammates. Captaincy in my opinion should be decided by the manager and the team, and not by fans. Of course, we fans can criticize captains, just like we criticize the manager, players, & administration at times. Swans need 6 points from the next two games, period! |
| News Comment | Swansea City : Are the club going to wriggle out of another forum with unanswered questions ? at 19:14:53
Sorry to hear that your daughter's brain cancer is diagnosed as terminal. My youngest brother had a glioblastoma (terminal brain cancer). Unfortunately for him, he and his daughter died tragically in an auto accident in 2011. He was 49 and she was only 17, a wonderful child, neice, and cousin and great friend to my #2 son who was the same age, same school. Keep up the pressure on this bunch! Swansea FC fans deserve better, and so does your website! |

Good to see Cooper start. I know he hasn't been at his best in his recent reserve roles but maybe this will boost his confidence and get him to play more directly. |
| News Comment | TEAM NEWS : Leicester City v Swansea City plus Yates & Mykola latest at 15:48:46
Swans need another center-back, preferrably one with some experience, quickness, and more pace than Cabango, Darling & Wood. That's a tall order and won't come cheap. I think Watson is Swans most valuable asset at the moment, especially if he can get one or two more quality recruits through the door. Rushworth, Key, Ginnelly, Tymon, sometimes Patino, and now Ronald (pray, hope) are good examples of his quality recruiting. So unfortunate about Ginnelly since a lot of us think he could've made a difference in Swans fortunes this season if he had stayed healthy. I still don't understand why Yates hasn't performed better. Sometimes all it takes is one newcomer to provide that spark; hopefully Ronald is that player. |
