From the little I’ve seen of Bianchini, he looks better than either of our strikers up front.
Yes, I prefer Cullen in a midfield 3 to a #10. I don’t think he quite has the guile to either thread through balls or beat opponents and open up defences.
He is more involved in midfield which suits his skillset much better. He can still break forward and get into the box from there. |

He played an advanced midfield role, either starting or on for Allen the last three games and did well in all of them.
Last time he started up front he had a really poor game. Agree that role suits him better. |

To be fair to Bellamy, he comes across as honest and sensible, which maybe some of us, including me, didn’t expect.
He’s not saying anything we didn’t already know about Cullen, but he’s bang on.
Cullen does everything right, runs himself into the ground and his attitude is always great. He just doesn’t have that bit extra to set him apart. A bit more pace, size, or ability to beat players and he’d be a top player. |

I’ve really enjoyed it and I think the format is sensible. Three weeks off the season in the first three months or so, with two games in each and then nothing until March.
The football has helped though. I may not be quite so enthused if we’d watched Page try to drudge his way to six 0-0s
It’s been great for our players too, with the obvious exception of Eom.
Happy we’re back to uninterrupted Swans for a while now. |

Completely agree with this until the last line. Keep football and rugby separate, what works in one often doesn’t translate to the other.

The style is fine, we’re just completely lacking in the final third, both in terms of creativity and a striker.
It wouldn’t take a world beater. Paterson, Ntcham or Celina would all improve us dramatically. As would practically any championship striker. |

Absolutely. Club v country is a nonsense invented to appease the less patriotic.
By all means be more invested in your club, I certainly am, but why not support both?

This is the only way we should be signing him IMO. If Key leaves, he’s the ideal replacement.
Otherwise, why have two quality right backs, Parker kicking his heels and remain toothless up front. |
