Prices for next season
at 16:31 11 Mar 2025

Yeah it's only 2k needed to be given to away teams, i'd assume for games like the skates the extra 1k will be used to create segregation blocks instead.

Similar to how they did for us in the league cup, albeit those blocks ended up getting "used" because we had more than a few who got in on the 2-4-1 deal

Still a few around, as he's mentioned Cardiff/Swansea, Burnley/Blackurn, Newcastle/Sunderland and i think Millwall/Leeds are all still bubbles.

Would guess fairly strongly that ours will be too, especially given what happened at Fratton in the cup.

Yeah but it's MUCH cheaper to police, even to police high risk games, when you have the away fans kept away from the main home end.

Especially since the game against the skates will probably be a bubble so they'll be bused into the bit behind the chapel, kept sectioned off from everyone and then only really be visible in the ground.

Manchester United To Build New Stadium

Goldbridge is even worse when you discover that he's from Nottingham and was a forest fan before "discovering" United.

Saying that they dealt with him much better than we have our "influencers", he pretty much can't show his face at old trafford because it's been made clear he's not welcome there.

As for the new ground personally i think it'll be sad to see Old Trafford go, it's one of the last iconic grounds in the country and can make a hell of noise when they get going.

I wonder if they'll keep the prices in The Wall Of Noddy Bantz(tm) low again next season to discourage people from moving to the chapel.

Given one of the big parts of doing it was to reduce policing costs I wouldn't be surprised to see them keep season tickets there down so people don't move over because we'll be playing the skates.

Personally i feel like paying a bit more to get away from the mouth breathers is well worth the cost though

Blame the breweries, they’re the ones that set the prices. Personally I only drink real ale so it’s cheaper but I make a point in not drinking to places with eye watering pint prices

Beer in london is definitely not £7 everywhere, my local is £3.80 for an ale, £4.50 for a "premium" lager.

West London and central is much more expensive than South, East and North, and even in the same borough the price of a pint will change a lot depending on where you drink

1. Was weirdly quiet last night, no problems getting served, no issues getting tubes and the usual queue at Fulham Broadway to get to the ground wasn't even there

2. The first 10-20mins I actually didn't think we looked terrible, but the minute the goal went in it was all over and we completely collapsed

3. Decent turn out but my god are some of our fans idiots. Had a bloke next to us last night who was screaming that we should've sold Dibling in january becaue he's sh*t

4. London prices are fine if you drink in the right place, we drunk in the pub opposite to where you did and paid just over a fiver a pint

5. getting out and home was a piece of p*ss, mind you it does help when you leave the ground on 44mins because the 3-0 rule has kicked in

5 Things About The Brighton Game

All of our lot commented at the time how f*cking strange that was. The bloke literally refused to play for us and they treated him like a cross between le tiss and lambert who’d been chained to a radiator terry waites style for the last two years.

No doubt in a week or two they’ll be singing about his cock

Genuinely think someone needs to stage an intervention with her, she's completely batsh*t and seems deluded in her thinking that any of us want her insane ideas that crashed the economy and cost us all a fortune.

Guide Dog is my favourite boozer in southampton, it's basically someone's living room that serves exceptionally good beer, kept by people who know how to look after beer properly and full of people who like good beer.

It's no frills, no fuss, doesn't do TV's, and doesn't do food most of the time, exactly how a boozer should be really.

My issue isn't volume it's quality.

I don't think I can ever remember a time where our song sheet has been so embarrassing, we literally have two songs about players c*cks and people are more likely to sing things like "how sh*t must you be" or "lets pretend we scored a goal" so they can laugh like kids who've just discovered laughing gas, than support the team.

Add to that the songs about the skates every five minutes - i swear we sing about pompey more than they do - and it just sucks all the enjoyment out of it.

That's the main reason i want to move to be honest, plus I actually want to watch the game (crazy i know)

In the ground and directly outside not a huge amount, aside from the Itchen North and Northam chucking a few things at away fans inside the ground it's mostly posturing.

Directly outside - and aside from games against the skates - it's only been the odd bit of handbags on britannia road by the buses, and you'd have to go back to the cup game against Wolves in the mid 2000's for any real trouble close to the ground.

But that said away from st mary's we had a very active element up until probably this season, and also in league one/championship days we did too.

That stuff is mainly away from the police camera's though so you wouldn't see much of it in the ground itself.

I started in the Northam when we moved from the Dell, I was Archers block five at the Dell and most around me agreed the Northam was the obvious choice to move to.

I gave up on the Northam a few years back because the newer/younger lot that had moved that absolutely did my head in, it was all performative social media b*llocks and bouncing around trying to look like something they're not.

The move to the Itchen North meant it felt far more like the old Dell crowd, but that then got ruined by the same nippers i'd move to escape moved over and turned the Itchen North into the Northam-Lite/a creche.

This season we moved back to the Northam, partly because we wanted to stand, mostly because it was so much cheaper, but like you say it's nigh on unbearable with the brain dead kids.

I've finally lost patience now, the songs about players c*cks, the celebration of going down, the stupid songs that we mocked the skates for in the past like pretending to celebrate goals, and don't get me started on the god awful Liverpool song that gets sung every five minutes.

My group are planning on moving next season - probably to the chapel by the away fans - but honestly i don't really care where we move so long as i'm not in the Northam anymore.

I'm also a lot more cynical about the "red wall", i don't believe that it was done to improve atmosphere, I think it was done to reduce policing costs and allow the club to get more money making schemes like the gulags and champagne bar into the ground.

If the club had actually wanted a better atmosphere they'd have either kept the away fans by the Northam, or they'd have put in safe standing to the back few rows of the chapel as well as the Northam.
