No Apologies needed Frank! Can't say I disagree much. Keogh does brilliantly 95% of the time but he does play himself into trouble - with a rushed clearance or running out of defence. I would prefer Bucko clearing or on the ball to Keogh any day of the week.
For me Forsyth's crossing was more of an issue - too often wasting a great run with a terrible cross. He has been very average this season and will do well to keep his spot if he doesnt start showing a bit more. |

Great article Bill, I thought it was all pretty straight forward what you meant as I too believe that this is all about getting us promoted.
GSE need return on their investment and will only get a decent one in the prem. Some things don't need to be said, I get it!!
Plus don't worry about missing much of Sam's waffle, it would be best recorded for use at bed time if you have trouble sleeping. Its spin, spin and more spin. The only proclomations worth listening to will be when they announce they will actually spend some money.
You can't tell me they really just want top 6, although a good finish to the season it would be only slightly better financially than say 7 - 10th.
They need to make a real run at promotion and will say "top-6" in case it all goes wrong to avoid being chased out of Derby. This change was made as part of a promotion plan as it is the only plan that makes sense if you are going to shake the club up in the way they did.
Just my opinion but I don't see any point in the plan being otherwise. |

Is it just me or does the sight of Sam Rush now make your skin crawl?
His interview above is more than a bit insulting continually harping about how this new team understand Derb's history and how important that is.
The veiled digs are pathetic and its great he now respects DCFC history.... shortly after coldly executing the son of a man that we have a statue of at the front of Pride Park.
I wish Steve all the best but Rush has lost me and I never thought I would say this but .... bring back Tom Glick! ;0) |

Agreed Harry but still the ghosts of last season hang around. Valiant efforts for little result. Bryson, Hughes, Ward etc all had good chances but could not even get on target. Have to at least hit the keeper when in good position or you have to wonder what they are being paid for. |

Great article. I didnt realise we had such a decent spread amongst the forwards. I felt sorry for Tyson & Robinson as despite the flaws in their games it seemed both would score regularly if playing. But obviously Clough knows best. Keep up the good work! |

Can't the owners see that even just one decent signing would somewhat placate the fans? Tonge alone would help calm down this doom and gloom but we wont even go after him. Now it looks like Ipswich are in for Scotland.... why does everyone else seem to have more ambition than us...when we are in a better financial position, great support and a chance to top up a half decent squad?......ahhhhh it does me poor lil head in! |
