Is it just me or is this being brought up in every post match interview? Surely being a manager your own planning and scheduling/training regimes and style of set up would overcome tough pitches and long bus journeys. Baffles me how long this waffle can keep being said.
On another day I honestly believe we would’ve won. Seemed to be caught on the counter attack a few times and 3 very good goals. If performances like that continue I’ve no doubt we will be pushing for promotion very soon.
In all honesty, the playoff winning team of 2011 and years running up to that, there were so many players in that squad you could put as captain and be assured they would lead the team;
Williams Britton Rangel Monk Tate
I’d even go as far as saying De Vries, Dobbie and Pratley could be given the armband.
Is there anyone in our current squad that you could put in that ilk, not for skill, goalscoring, pace etc but for pure leadership?
