No Leigh Dineen in Jack Swan said that the deal is about to expire, and there are negotiations with new sponsors (£3m I think) , but there will be NO benefit for us, as the stadium costs have risen and the management company get the money anyway. Quite an interesting read; Linky http://issuu.com/jackswan/docs/issue_38 [Post edited 30 Jun 2015 17:25]

Actually the first set of fans I ever heard call it a Mickey Mouse trophy (outside the top 6) were your lot, after we beat you in it in our first year back at championship level. Of course later beating the mighty palace, Blackburn etc made your lot (in general) forget it was a Mickey Mouse trophy. |

Could someone with photoshop skills edit "Tan and Oles" faces onto "Stan and Ollies" (Laurel and Hardys') bodies, if so, I think there are some decent wind ups to come in work. Thanks |

| Forum Reply | Would Swans have achieved that level of performance under Laudrup? at 12:52 21 Feb 2014
I don't think we would have won the derby, at least not so convincingly. Most importantly IMO ML would have have put a weaker team v stoke and the first team v Everton. Therefore we would probably be 1 point worse off and possibly still in the cup, with another one or two (replay?) big games to distract us. Extrapolate that (point difference) over a season and for me, that is why he had to go. [Post edited 21 Feb 2014 12:55]

| Forum Reply | This 5-2 diet plan at 23:50 18 Feb 2014
I do this fairly regularly. As I eat very little during the day anyway, I tend to drink water, have a couple of (diet) energy drinks (7 cals each), and if I am very hungry an apple or a few grapes. Then when I get home I will have 4 f a ggots (530 calories), or a plate of peas, yorkshire puddings (45 ish cals each) and Morrisons Beef in gravy (85 cals), or a supermarket shepherds pie, or 1/2 a tin of beans on (2) toast. The Mrs (500 cals) will have a banana and slice of toast when getting to work, then a weight watchers ready meal when she gets home or she will make a chicken stir fry etc. We are both generally satisfied by this. We usually go to bed on fasting days, promising to get up early and make bacon sausage eggs etc, but never do. In fact I fasted yesterday, and only ate breakfast today (2 slices of toast), as I know it is important to "break" the "fast", so as not to go into starvation mode. Yesterday I tried one of those "meals in a can" (around 400 calories) for tea. It was fine, though I was very hungry at bed time, so ate 4 "yorkshires" lol |

While your facts are facts. Since the Kuban home game I have felt that we have been a rudderless ship. IMO we have lost our style and are have not been playing to our strengths. It has felt a lot like the end of Sousas reign. I am both gutted and relieved at ML leaving. I left the ground after beating Fulham convinced we are in relegation trouble. I will back the board 100% |

I think they have made a mistake, or we are in trouble as JDG is on loan too. Could it be 2 pl loans? |
| Forum Reply | Our fans... at 12:55 13 Dec 2013
I am in the first group, though do very few away games now. Like many in this group I am fed up with the moaners saying we should be better etc. I definitely look at where we have come from and what we have achieved and put it in perspective, and I think this is the best time ever to be a Jack. However, I have converted a Liverpool, Cardiff and Chelsea "fan" since the play off finals and know that they have different aspirations to me. As 2 of them are under 12 I hope they become the future of the club, I am seriously considering my stance on accepting where we are. Like many on here I was shouting down dissent in the first half against Hull, and to be honest embarrassed by large sections of our support. But I am wondering if it is time to let the next generation have their say, and for me to listen to them. I have been and am proud of my small stake in the club via the trust, however this small stake gets smaller every day as new fans come on board. Basically I am wondering if myself and the cat 1 fans in this analogy are holding the club back. Sorry if disjointed etc. sat on a bus on my phone. |

I have an interest in the events and saw that programme. "IF" half of what he says esp about the autopsy is true it is a very compelling case. The show didn't counter or challenge anything he said, it was just him putting his case unopposed, I really enjoyed it though. "JFK's secret killer the evidence" or similar was the title. Edit. He claims it was the secret service in the vehicle behind, they had been drinking until 7 am that morning etc and it was the normal "driver" who picked up the assault rifle. Also the secret service removed the high powered rifle from the security detail after the incident and initially denied the rifle was ever there until it was proven on film. The ex combatants in the cars behind the secret service claiming to have smelt gunpowder, which they shouldn't have had the shot come from behind and above was also persuasive.
