You cant slag the spending on welsh language whilst uk govt gets a free ppass to spend 10 times that on English Arts Council annually and much else.

I hear the language daily where i work.
Then again I dont work inside a telephone box.
You must be fecking amazed that people like Joe Allen, Ben Davies, Ben C, John Hartson, Dai Davies, and even Rubin Colwill all speak/spoke welsh.
Add in Aaron Ramsey for good measure.

Westminster wastes billions more than any other public institution.
They spend ten times more annually on the English Arts Council than is spent on the welsh language.
Lets hear you batter the English Arts council for hospitals not having funding then ?

What does it matter, i would feel the same about the Irish language.
Most Europeans have 2 languages.

Not to mention the near open hostility.
Every single welsh child should leave school with conversational Cymraeg skills.
Every welsh citizen should be able to deal with government through Cymraeg. |
