A cantankerous old git but never afraid to speak his mind, which I admire. A true Jack and I hope he has a full and speedy recovery. Best wishes from a Cardiff fan. |

For those interested in bird watching and twitching have you seen the Franklin's Gull at Penclacwydd? I also know a good site for Bluebirds....... |

How would CMB lose money? Borley has a personal investment in the club and he's entitled to use his money in any way he sees fit; he's a wealthy man after all. CMB will not be adversely affected if Tan bails (which we all know he won't unfortunately). If you're so sure of your facts then please educate me regarding the amounts that your club cost your local businesses? Regardless, this has been done to death and my main point was the mockery you give for any actions we take or accusations of apathy if we don't. |

You and I both know the sums were considerable and, although chicken feed in comparison to what we owe, it will only be Tan and Hammam who lose out, not local businesses and that's fine by me! What worries me more is that regardless our protests (however lame you think they are) Tan cannot afford to walk away because there's no realistic way that he can recoup his outlay by selling the current assets at the club. I think we're stuck either him and unless there's a strategy I haven't thought of yet then my club's identity will move further away from me. Yeah, the "Malky Riots" were embarrassing but I believe that the apathy was due to a majority of fans believing that a change of manager had to happen after the (Tan engineered) media war, in which there was hoping to be only one winner, made his position untenable. |

Damned if we do, damned if we don't; whatever we do (collectively or individually) you lot will find some reason to mock. If that gives you a sense of distraction from your own current plight then so be it but at least we appear to be doing something constructive at last. I notice your constant comments regarding taking it up the arse in exchange for financial salvation and that's rich coming from a club that has built its (considerable) success on the foundations of going into administration and shafting the arses of all those owed money by your club. However, with hindsight, I do concede that we (collectively) have surrendered too much in exchange for false promises and I barely recognise the club I've supported for more than 40 years. |

There was a lot of praise for this lad when we were linked with him last year and he looks like the type of player that would fit well into your system of play. Better than Routledge I think. |

If you're asking me which team can boast being the best in recent times then I won't argue in favour of my team, that would be futile. Also, if you're asking me which has been the better run club in recent times, you won't hear me deny that it's your club. I love Cardiff City but I'm not deluded although my love is/has been deeply tested by the events of the last 2 years. In a season when I should have been enjoying the football more than ever I now find myself feeling less of an association with CCFC than I ever have and that's sad. |

Just pointing out the fact that we have won at the new Wembley boys. Yep, you did to Reading what they'd done to us in the previous game and there's no denying that. |

Fair play, that made me chuckle! However, we have won at the new Wembley and we beat a side playing in the same division as us; not one from 3 divisions below us..... |

Now who's laughing at the fiasco at their rival's football club - hilarious! |

We were awful for 75 minutes yesterday and Norwich will be wondering how they left the CCS without at least a point (or will rue the fact that they don't have a goal-scorer and that their ex keeper had a blinder). I watched your game and thought you were awful too. Next week will be a totally different game for both our teams and I think it'll come down to who wants it the most - I think a nervy draw is on the cards. |

Really interesting thread here chaps and interesting to see how many of you are being unnecessarily pessimistic and negative. You were undone by a few moments of Van Persie and Wellbeck magic in a game where you more than held your own for the first 30 mins or so and then lost to a debatable penalty at Spurs. You have a stronger squad than last year which will see you comfortably mid-table at least. You were excellent against Malmo too. No need to panic just yet! We were superb against Man City but I'm not getting carried away either... |

Very prophetic mate! Like I said, we'll see and I'll just hang on for the ride! In all honesty, would I rather we had risen from the ashes to where you are now by being managed in a coherent, prudent and self-righteous manner? Or would I rather have been on this mad-cap, roller-coaster ride that I've been on for the last 12 years? I'm not sure to be honest and where will we both end up in 12 years time? I don't know, I don't share your gift of foresight I'm afraid. With a name like Julian? Please explain.... |

Tan is no Abramovich mate; no innate interest in football, not the same level of disposable assets and he's already parted with close to half of his personal wealth via donations to charity. Of course he's "in it" to promote Malaysia but also he's there to raise his own profile and the businesses he owns which includes Cardiff City. Do you honestly think that if he doesn't get his own way (ie. every fan buying into the rebrand, relegation etc.) that he'd just say, "Oh well, never mind, I'll just put losing £xxx millions down to experience and move on to my next crazy project"?? He's here to make money and the only way he can now achieve that is via success on the pitch. I'm not naive enough to think that the money we're spending guarantees anything but it certainly helps. You do what you do we'll but there's no guarantee that will continue to be successful either. We'll see eh? |
