Swansea’s current owners have a huge decision to be made in the next week, who manages/coaches the Swans for the 2016/17 season. Certainly Francisco Guidolin has enhanced his chances of achieving that with the latest win at West Ham, only the second time in history, and that’s not the only time he has re-written history. Let’s not forget his first away game at Everton, plus memorable wins against Arsenal (despite spending that time in a London hospital), and against Liverpool. Yes, there have been ups and downs, namely the losses at Newcastle and at Leicester, yet we should not let those overshadow his successes. |
| Blog | Chelsea - Thoughts On The First Game

I won’t mention the score as our defeat by a rampant Chelsea’s still gives me nightmares. However, my thoughts for Stamford Bridge on the first game of the new Premier campaign may all be so different. Getting something at the home of the champions will be a tall-order, but unpredictable results often surface on the first game of most seasons, and I’m hoping the Swans will be one of those. |
