He’s been injured the majority of the season, hopefully he’s not getting treatment at Heston. |

Take nothing away from the women’s team but it’s quite sad that they could get a win at Loftus Road before the first team. |

That’s a recall out of the question then

So let me get this straight, he didn’t run with the ball, he didn’t tackle, he didn’t jump and he didn’t cross any balls, so he basically just walked around the pitch, for 90 mins. |

My mate who’s a Sunderland fan just told me their star player Rigg is out with a heart issue?! Said they have an equally good player called Brown who will take his place, so that’s the first goal scorer sorted. |

It’s never enjoyable is it, just stressful, but here’s my thoughts. I thought Smyth had his best game for a while, he was the only player looking to get in behind, surprised he was taken off. Celar, I’ve seen Sloths with more killer instinct, no movement in the box, just happy to be sandwich between the 2 CB’s, that cross that was fizzed across just needed a touch but he just watched it go by, really worrying, think we may have another Borysiuk on our hands here, he looks totally out of his depth. Morgan was brilliant, so eager to get on the ball and always looks to do something positive, totally fearless, hope he can cement a spot in the team now. Varane was better tonight, much more like it and exactly what we thought we were getting when he signed, let’s hope he stays at that level now. Little Koki Saito, thrown in at left back when Paal had decided he had seen enough, he was faultless and did not stop, what a tidy little player. [Post edited 22 Oct 22:30]

Sick to death of this now I’m sick of people telling me we will be fine when Chair is back Im sick of watching them throw their arms in the air when we concede a goal and doing that slow, sad walk while the opposition players celebrate I’m sick of watching our keeper pick the ball out of our net I’m sick of watching our managers post match interviews I’m sick of watching opposition fans having a great time I’m sick of hearing the stadium announcer say the name of some player who hasn’t scored since Nelson lost an eye I’m sick of the journey home on the train with a carriage full of pissed off people anxiously looking at the league table Please feel free to add your own. |

Allegedly, The whole idea of pi55ing about with it at the back is to draw the attackers in and use gaps created to pass it through the thirds, what we are supposed to do with said gaps I don’t know as we only have 1 midfielder, Varane, Madsen, Andersen all passengers, Colback either injured or on a yellow which is renders him useless. As soon as I sat through those pre season friendlies and saw Nardi fannying about with the ball I knew we were in trouble. We can’t press, we can’t defend, we can’t counter attack and we can’t score, we can’t even take a throw in without it ending up in our net. I sit there every week and watch teams run at us, right through the middle, defenders back tracking, sheer panic in their eyes, opened up like a bottle of coke full of mentos and I think why can’t we run at the opposition like that? every forward pass immediately cancelled out by a backwards one, Morgan Fox had more touches than Madsen and he only played for 20 mins. Yes we have Marti, yes we have some nice shiny new players, yes we’re now serving Estrella (warm, plastic, £7) but we’re no better off and I’m absolutely gutted about it. [Post edited 6 Oct 20:23]
