| Forum Thread | Villa or Arsenal? at 17:13 29 May 2015
Three questions: 1. Are you bothering watching the FA Cup 2. Who do you want to win 3. Has it really been any better on the beeb 1. Maybe 2. Villa 3. Has largely passed me by!! |

For that matter why not throw in Phil Gartside at Bolton who has royally screwed up Edwin Davies's investment and money. You could have added Peter Ridsdale who I'm sure would have been on thin ice with Trevor Hemmings had he not have won promotion. Goes to show that the wrong Chief Exec can be just as damaging as an owner who is looking after his investment! |

Wonder how the O/K feel if they have, by some weird fate, put Ollie off this job and we got Graham Westley and Ollie comes out and says it's because he didn't have the fans support? What you may call an own goal! |
| Forum Thread | New Manager announcement sweepstake! at 17:00 22 May 2015
Well must confess I thought he might have announced it today to give the new man the whole weekend to start his planning and so now we look to next week and I have to say if we don't get an announcement on Tues or Weds we are once again on the back heel and KO will have learnt nothing. Hope whoever he brings in has no holiday booked as get the feeling that they'll have the busiest June of any manager. So back to the original question .. I'll go Tuesday. |
| Forum Reply | Would Richie Kyle make a good manager? at 08:35 22 May 2015
Two words - Simon Grayson .. end of the day Ince, Riga and Clark all had management experience and were rubbish .. can't be any worse! |

Would love to know what they're doing about the pitch over summer with rugby and Neil Diamond to come .. anyone expect it will be any better next season {silence fills the air} |
| Forum Reply | Would Redfearn come here with Thommo??? at 16:36 18 May 2015
On one hand Karl would love this <i>Neil Redfearn's time as Leeds head coach appears certain to end this week after club owner Massimo Cellino branded him "weak" and "a baby"</i> On the other hand, not so much this! <i>Cellino has risked the wrath of the supporters more with an outspoken attack on Redfearn, claiming the 49-year-old tried to turn them against him during his ban and saying that he loves the club more than his coach does</i> I would welcome back Thommo with whoever tomorrow .. |
| Forum Reply | Does Gerrard deserve all this media coverage? at 12:08 15 May 2015
I think it's the whole last home game coverage ... followed next week by last game ... followed the week after by last team hug ... followed shortly after by last shower etc etc etc |

Interesting withdrawal - nowadays they don't even wait to lose an election! |

When you think about all the problems we've had this season, it is encapsulated in that record. I rarely remember a Saturday evening when I was enjoying a pint last season after a game. You'd like to think the managerial interviews will be lined up for this week and an appointment made early next week - there again it took 6 weeks last year and so don't hold your breath! |

Remember being at Southend when they were on the verge of promotion to the Championship and just felt a really nice club. Sorry to stereotype but very much white van man and white stiletto area of the world! |
| Forum Reply | What's Nigel Farage? at 20:12 14 May 2015
UKIP are and always will be a joke party - they won't be around for the next election - once the Europe vote has been decided and Farage has gone they'll be meaningless. |
