If you go back in time over many years our attendances were ok in promotion years but for the last few games there would be sell outs as fans wanted to say they were there....if we start to rise towards the play off spots our attendances will rise although SKY may have a say in that.
Luton will sell out as the away end only holds about 1200....not the best of grounds or views. Very compact and dont try to sit down to watch the game.....
If the match is being televised some fans with families will pick up brownie points and stay at home after Sunday lunches. Others will give it a miss because its too cold or getting dark earlier or....the cost is another problem but that is life at the moment unfortunately
good result watched the last 40 minutes including extra time and my wife who want that bothered was the one ready to throw something at the tv when the referee took so long to give the winning goal...
Records are there to be broken just like teams do it to us at home all the time we can score our first goals since......and win at the Kassam and all will be wine and roses again....
Isn't the tournament being alluded to the Welsh League Cup that our under 21s played in last year and lost in the first round this year? I think its dangerous ground as the EFL, Premier League and the international bodies could I suppose eventually force us to play in the Welsh pyramid system....no thanks
Many fans will pick and choose their away games especially for close proximity purposes. After Coventry the nearest games on Saturdays are Oxford in November and Portsmouth on NYD. Following the team away is not a cheap option anymore and unless they are at the top and challenging for promotion the interest is only there for those that enjoy the day our=t regardless of the 95 minutes mid afternoon.
Whatever the form sides have before and after derby games goes out of the window for that particular game. I am sure that LW and others will be putting their point across to our warriors about this game on Sunday and they will not be over confident. We are good enough to win this one easily even though Chopra is in the away end.
Very negative performance from us especially with Grimes playing at the back. Very slow and ponderous moving forward. So many passes going astray. Much better second half with the introduction of Ronald and the new boy who never had much of the ball. One shot on target? Their goalie would have had frostbite on a winters day. Still a dubious penalty won the day for them....onwards and upwards and forwards not backwards please
