The Wycombe fans are mainly understanding of his position, and realise why he has left, their very decent Head of recruitment Scott Mitchell fell out with the powers that be there and got kicked out just before Christmas, he was immediately snapped up by Oxford. I think Wycombe may well drop down the table now, as we well know interference from above is rarely a good thing! |

Richard Thomas, Lee Harrison and Ben Cirne have all left Wycombe to join Matt at Luton, sounds like there are big problems behind the scenes, the new owner and directors are not popular! |

Bloomfield confirmed as new Luton manager, sounds like Matt and the new owner didn’t see eye to eye, both the Luton assistant managers have left suggesting Matt is bringing in his own backroom guys. EDIT! Sorry I didn't mean to attach this to the previous post! [Post edited 14 Jan 12:41]

Apparently although he has gone back to Pompey at present Scully may come back to us on loan in a couple of weeks if his injury continues to heal. |

Shewsbury are doing very badly so I doubt the ambitious and wealthy fairly new owners of Wycombe will want him, I can see them going for a fairly big name by league one standards. |

Yes O’Rourke mentioned that on X yesterday, it would seem several other league 2 and National league clubs are looking at Daniel too. He does seem like a decent prospect but so did Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe and Dan Holman! [Post edited 10 Jan 10:38]

Sounds like Luton will get their £3 million for Joe Taylor! From Pete O'Rourke on X Huddersfield Town are set to confirm the signing of long-term target Joe Taylor in a permanent deal from Luton Town. The deal is worth in excess of £3m and is a huge statement of intent from Huddersfield in the battle for promotion from League One. [Post edited 10 Jan 9:05]

Bim Pepple has just been recalled by Luton from his loan at Southend, I suspect they will loan him out again to someone in league 2, I wonder if we are in for him? |

Makes me wonder if a deal is in the offing for Samson, so we are waiting to see how that pans out 1st. We did sell a lot of players in the last few months but no doubt the payments will come through in agreed stages. |

All the bottom teams are really going for it, Swindon bring in Tom Nichols on loan, an experienced striker who may come good for them after a lean period elsewhere. |

I don't think he will decline it, he loved it there last season and was a fans favourite, they are really chuffed up there and talking like he has already signed, perhaps he has..... |

Yes you are right Wessex, the danger of having players on loan in league 2 who do very well as we saw last season with Joe Taylor. Clubs loan them out in the summer and if they do well other clubs higher up the league than us come in for loans, or as in this case a buyout. |

Sounds like Donnelly is as good as gone, Dundee wanted to sign him in the summer but couldn’t agree on a sell on clause. Now Ally Graham a young much sought after keeper is going to move to Forest from Dundee and Donnelly is moving to Dundee, it sounds like they have already done the recall. |

Transfer market is a load of rubbish I wouldn’t take any notice of their valuations. I think the bottom end of the Lincoln estimate is nearer the truth when you take into account salary etc over 2-3 seasons. Like always if it goes to a price war between competing championship teams the final price with add ons etc could well be around £3 million. |
