| News Comment | QPR smacked for four by promotion-chasing Albion — Report at 10:11:48
Despite the score, i had a good day out and caught up with some old friends. Also the shocking second half meant we left 10 mins early and missed the long wait for trains. It does annoy me that a brand new stadium has such bad transport links on match day. First half was very even...not a classic but we fought well. the goal was horribly depressing...we knew they'd score and it was a bad time to concede, and i had a perfect view. |
| News Comment | Polter proves the strikers’ case — Report at 09:38:57
I honestly would have taken Fer off after 30 minutes. I've rarely seen a player who so obviously didnt want to be in the pitch and put in so little effort. |
| News Comment | Austin and Faurlin inspire comeback — Report at 09:24:22
It was one of the most entertaining games i've been to in years...i absolutely loved it. And Austin...what can i say. I have a huge man crush on him....i love the fact he's such a basic striker. He is so single minded its ridiculous....in a completely non selfish way, he gets the ball and has one aim, to get it on target and he succeeds so regularly. |
| News Comment | QPR finally cut loose and demolish in-form Ipswich — report at 12:47:43
The young Ipswich fan getting chucked out after the third goal was priceless...you couldn't have made it up! Definitely a highlight of the day. Great away day and excellent performance...knew the first goal would be massive for whoever got it and once we did, we took control. |
| News Comment | Johnson shines as QPR roll back the years — report at 15:52:25
Austin, Johnson, BAE and Barton stood out for me and i think 5 for Carroll is very harsh. Think criticisms of the sloppyness are very harsh...we arent going to be perfect for 90 minutes and we basically controlled the game, took our chances and won 3-0. I'm delighted with that. |
| News Comment | Late agony prolongs QPR’s 15 year wait — full match report at 11:04:09
I was there with most my family...brother, sister, dad, nieces etc and my dad looks like we had just got relegated at the end he was so depressed! It was an odd one...i think we had all got so excited and were so desperate to go up at home against Hull. The atmosphere before kick off was amazing and i genuinely felt like i was witnessing a once in a lifetime experience and thats why i think it was so depressing that we ballsed it up. It's annoying because as has been mentioned above, we essentially got promoted on Saturday and none of us really felt like it. |
| News Comment | A night where it all went right for rampant Rangers — full match report at 09:45:31
This game was incredibly comfortable. Missed the first 20 mins (train from Brighton cancelled...grr) but i felt we controlled it pretty much from the start. We took our foot off the gas a bit after our first goal but i thought we were incredible the second half and loved the fact that at 3-0 up, Warnock kept bringing on forwards. Taraabt is interesting when we are on tv....i think he is overly worried about being too greedy as he has been on tv in the past but as a result, doesnt actually quite know how to play. He didnt play badly at all but it doesnt quite click for him on tv. |
