Grooming gangs 13:36 - Apr 11 with 297 views | Boundy | I see that the government are not going to insist on a national enquiry but will leave it to local councils to look into the national scandal which has been the abuse of young white girls , which imo is a disgrace in itself considering the collusion of some police officers and officials.

There is that but the issue seems so wide spread that to ignore it is disgraceful .It looks like MPs are more concerned with the lack of an airport in Pakistan than their own constitutes.

Grooming gangs on 18:15 - Apr 11 with 168 views | Gwyn737 | I just want to see the most effective method used. The argument being made by the government is that firstly there has been a recent national enquiry and secondly that the focussed ones will be more productive. TBH I don’t know which one would be best as it’s become so politicised. I do worry that the focus on the abhorrent crimes by Asian grooming gangs means we ignore some of the other, equally horrendous stuff like this: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0e43nxpepno I may be wrong but I don’t recall this being talked about on here.

Agreed. We need to know the best way to do it.

Boundy is right about a national inquiry. Tory government for last 14 years have done very little. Needs doing. I would agree to capital punishment for anyone involved in the systematic abuse of children. Horrific cases, one after the other.

Thanks for posting the link , too often its forgotten that white folk can be as equally disgraceful as non whites , hopefully this is a local incident and not widespread as the others seem to have been. I believe regarding the "grooming " gangs and the manner in which the girls were targeted by predominantly Asian men from across the country and the manner in which several police forces and social workers acted in the way they did and the fact that its hoped this will be brushed under the carpet by those in power makes it more important that there is an independent national enquiry. I see the Chief constable of West Yorkshire ( the place where bad things happen so it seems) has come under fire for putting a temporary block on the hiring of white candidates – a move that could potentially amount to positive discrimination, which is currently illegal in England and Wales, all in the name of diversity . Just how we've allowed our police to become politized as they have where they are supposed to police with consent and not follow some white hall dictak.

Read this statement from one of the vctims of the muslim gang rape, but be warned it is stomach churning, I'd willingly pull the lever to hang these dirty filthy monsters. Jesse Philips is more concerned about holing on to her seat, than to hold an inquiry that may bring these fithy rats to pay for their depavity, shame on her. https://www.parallelparliament.co.uk/mp/jess-phillips/vs/katie-lam

The very least these kids should expect from those in power is a determination to root out and where necessary redo the so many wrongs but no all they get is meaningless words and platitudes . I'd hang the lot with not a second glance.
