It has cost £150 million and rising.
Nobody has been deported to Rwanda yet.
Another waste of taxpayers money.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Very true. We need that money to accommodate approximately 45000 illegal immigrants a year.

Suella Braverman , another Home Secretary who talks the talk but gets nothing done .
Looks impressive on TV with visions and aims of managing the small boat influx .
To date , nothing done after all this Goverments get tough policy statements .

Rwanda , off shore barges , what happened with that idea , gone quiet about that .

Answer to all these problems , thank goodness I am not in the equation .

Annual cost of giving accommodation to the illegal immigrants is over £2 billion wonder if Starmer has a policy yet?

Did you read beyond the headline or was that too much like hard work?

Including a hand full of children in care who came to this country as unaccompanied child refugees in a Universal Basic Income Pilot does nothing in increase the number of people seeking asylum here.

The most formidable weapon against errors of every kind is reason.
Poll: Is Huw's position untenable?

If you’d bothered to use google for 2 seconds you could’ve found your answer.

https://amp.theguardian.com/politics/2023/sep/13/starmer-on-tour-solutions-migra

Also are you capable of defending the Tories without mentioning Labour? I’d love to see you defend the sh*t show at our borders after your party has had it entirely their way for 13 years. Are you up to the task or are we going to get your reflex action of “it will be worse under labour” just because you say so?

I was referring to overall cost - which you might notice features in a number of posts in the thread.

The Tories are failing as they don't have the guts to address the issue , which is to keep these out rather than encourage them , like working class Corbyn does
They are utterly craven
Labour beyond comment

I've asked that kind of question a lot.

Tend not to get a response.

The overall cost to the UK of managing irregular migration, of which the Rwanda policy or the WG initiatives are just elements. Do you dispute that cost was part of the topic under discussion?

Really? I'm sure the people traffickers are planning the routes to Wales and telling people our government is giving free money to immigrants.

The whole thing, regardless of which UK politician is runnng it, is broken.

We need a level of immigration but we don't put enough money or thought into controlling the system properly. The politicians UK wide waste billions on things people don't seem to want but what we do want and actually NEED is left to stagnate.

So now you know what the people smugglers tell their victims ? Really ?

And you believe that people smugglers are up to date on the latest welsh government policy statements ? Really ?

Sounds to me that you are just guessing shite.

Nobody has been sent to Rwanda.
But uk govt gave Rwanda £150 million.
No lives saved.

The prison boat again cost a fortune.
Its unusable.

Guess you are happy for illegal migrants to die trying to cross the channel rather than trying to find a solution to the problem.
Thankfully our Navy and rescue services don't share your views.

Lawyer working for nothing

There is a sick irony that lawyers have aided and abetted the (described as an epidemic by a South Wales judge) mass infiltration of U.K society by organised crime gangs, who will go on to fuel burglaries, theft, crime, gang violence, drug related mental illness/deaths/suicides.

Add to that lawyers, that are also responsible for aiding and abetting another appalling end-product i.e. slave-labour gangs and the black economy.

And who is going to suffer and lose out the most from all this? Yes, the very poorest of U.K society, sacked from their hotel/hospitality sector jobs along with others losing a wage in the construction sector etc, because they are no longer the favourite choice for exploitative and greedy bosses. Goodbye "going rate".....Hello 7x12's for £3 (or less) an hour.

So yes Indeed many do not listen to the bleating and virtue signaling of Metropolitan elite, Guardian readers, middle class public sector, Champaign socialists, middle class detached and lawyers who are the biggest hypocrites of all from their 'untouched' parallel universe(s).

Argus!

Well anything that is freely available on the internet, anything that they can use to sell their services and make no mistake, people smuggling is a large business.

You are somewhat of an expert on shite though so maybe I'll give way to your superior knowledge.

Not that long ago I was banging on about barristers, solicitors and indeed judges and the justice system itself, all gorging on the misfortune of others .
When a barrister opines about human rights ,heor she does so with nothing but self interest at heart
No solicitor or barrister does anything for nothing ,ever.
