Talking to my mate about this does anyone else remember this game or am I dreaming they called the game off on the Saturday because of bad weather or electric problem and rearranged for the next day because all the players and fans were already in Swansea
Has a look. There is some footage of Newcastle beating the Swans on a Sunday with the commentary talking about Newcastle fans staying over an extra 24 hours. ðŸ‘

The game was played on 16th October 1983 which was a Sunday. I think very few games were played on a Sunday then ? So you may well be right Newcastle won 2 - 1 and the return game 3 - 0

Yes I remember it we were on our way down at this point would of been 3 relegations on the bounce were it not for Jimmy Rimmer against Bristol city the following season.
I dread to think how some on here would cope back then.

And the fans from the premier league days ? Or indeed the youngsters who follow us now as a result ?
I doubt they would be Swans fans at all. ( not all of course )
