is Martin too honest? 16:29 - Nov 10 with 1021 views | ReslovenSwan1 | You can never be too honest think he said but are some things better kept in house? Last week or two. a) Joey Allen. We should have done better red flags were missed. We need outsde expertise. b) Ox Flex. Players were not following instructions. He knows why he was withdrawn. c) We were flat at the stat of the Preston games. Some of my player over celebrated after beating Cardiff. They are young men. i preferred Potter's more nuanced explanations. I have spoken to Ollie Mac about cutting back the late night gaming as he adjusts to becoming a professional football player and looking after himself. The penny has dropped about 4 years later it seems.

We live in a snowflake society where people like to stand up against others and put others straight but can't handle it when the shoe is on the other foot.

Wouldnt disagree that players need to be told the truth but there is no need to do it in public. Good Managers in whatever area never ever throw their team under the bus in "public" that crticisim should be kept for behind closed doors

Some of the top managers over the years have done it, all depends on the mentality of the player.......it certainly shows up the weeds amongst the grass. Nothing wrong with a bit of home truths especially when it's been said quietly previously in house but ignored by the listener.

If the Wrexham programme is a demonstration of what it is like in all dressing rooms, then I think the public statements bear no resemblance to what is happening behind the scenes?

This is the issue, he was advised by the medical staff that it was the case but one of those medical staff got the assessment badly wrong....quite possibly more than 1.

The bottom line is we should not be starting a World Cup a week after the domestic leagues stop. But the biggest tragedy is having it in Qatar at all. Football stinks of greed And to make it worse Page is having a pop at us and ommitting players who should be going. This after we have produced the likes of Ben Davies Joe Rodon Ashley Williams Joe Cabango Dan James He would be managing TNS if it were not for us.

agree the Joey fiasco is not down to him....I wonder if he has thought how he would have felt as young player if his manager had done the same so much has been written about Martin and his iterative learning process but this is yet another example that he has no clue

So he really is injured. It makes Page an utter jerk. I wish I wasn’t a hypocrite as I’d avoid this filthy tournament completely Heard Rednapp saying he thought some of the players wouldn’t be happy playing there . Don’t go there then. Nobody I’d forcing them to.

It is the world cup. The World is a big place and FIFA wanted to share it around. Qatar like many other places have lower human right values than Western nations. But the West give lesser right to the unborn child for example. This is now a big issue in the USA. We have our own issues on rights. Qatar should have been forced by FIFA to agree minimum contractual paperwork for all worker on WC projects One wonders how south Africa and Brasil avoided these issues. The working man was not paid a fortune I would guess and had to work in oppressive conditions FIFA considered the heat for footballers fans and dignitaries but forgot about the other stakeholders the workers. They should be sued by a fancy US lawyer to get a billion or two out of the Swiss bank vaults of FIFA /Qatar to compensate. Of v course you think Page is a "jerk". He got Wales to the World cup. No wonder you detest the fellow. Footballers will take the knee. That covers a multitude of sins and players can throw in a v clenched fist as well. This could be black rights or workers rights for south American teams.
