Want £80 million pounds from Nantes, claiming that's how much they lost when they were relegated from the Premier league.

In this mornings Mail, sorry I can't do the article on here.

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

But what has it got to do with Nantes? He was a Cardiff player. Once a bluebird always a bluebird and all that.

The lack of understanding of this case is painful with these articles. Zero research done.

“The plane trip was organised by Sala's agent Willie McKay on Nantes' behalf..”

No, the plane trip was organised by the father of the broker of the deal - not Sala’s agent, on Cardiff’s behalf, not Nantes’ - hence why Cardiff were trying to get him on a budget flight the day before, hours and hours away from where he was at the time.

His travel to Wales had nothing to do with the interests of Nantes, he wasn’t their player. This was a personal trip for Sala after the deal was done. It had no professional purpose, it was him running some personal errands such as gathering some personal belongings, meeting friends etc.

His transit back to the U.K. was a matter between him and the club that wanted him back in time for training - Cardiff.

Talking of McKay isn’t it weird that his twin sons kept getting two and a half year professional contracts at various championship clubs when they are barely good enough for the Scottish lower leagues?

Cardiff really don’t want them investigating the relationship between Willie and them.

The sons, who are barely good enough for League of Wales managed to keep getting contracts at the same clubs, clubs their father had dealings with.

The general path of their careers are almost identical.

They were signed by these same clubs and almost immediately shipped out on loan to rubbish teams, almost like they knew they weren’t good enough to play for them.

Curious…

Even at £1000 a week which I imagine is on the lower end of what the championship generally pays even for an up and coming youngster, that’s £250k each for 2 and a half years of literally doing nothing. The reality is they were likely to be paid higher than that. It’s nepotism at its finest and you have to wonder what Cardiff would expect in return?

And that’s before you factor in any signing on fees etc.

The Daily mail actually quoting the sun newspaper for the story….a new low for journalism it would seem.

I honestly think Cardiff will struggle big time next season. So many players leaving apparently.
Supposedly going to rely on the youngsters and loan players, £12,000 a week wage cap.

Plus I’ve heard than Tan is even sticking his nose into team selection and tactics 😂

Well after their recent shite show against Wales number 1 team he can’t do much worse than Morrison

Hope they find themselves in the 4th tier soon where they truly belong.

Very true.
