Absolutely loads of games called off in the English leagues but none in Scotland none in league of Wales even most non league games going on Spain games looking like none affected

Is there something up with the testing 🤔

It’s a bit weird Jim.

There’s a lot of London teams and teams from the south east so far. To be expected really as that is the most densely populated areas and also where the planes come in from South Africa bringing all that lovely omicron goodness with it.

Not really, Jim.

The English leagues are testing players and staff far more frequently than in Wales. The PFA provided £5m towards this from what I can remember.

As you can see here, the guidance from FAW is rather laughable. They "advise" that players and staff complete a lateral flow test prior to entering the ground.

I'm sure there are numerous asymptomatic players participating in today's matches across the Welsh leagues who would have been identified, their contacts traced and games subsequently postponed - if they were regularly tested.

London declared a major incident today, Omicron is rampant in the south east. There's a lot of teams in London, maybe they are spreading it through the league?

No doubt the rest of us will catch up with the English Omicron rates!

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Barry Town called off their game with Cardiff Met because they had no recognised goalkeepers available.

I think on Friday Cymru only had 190 cases in total.

Next week will be another matter, sadly.

Maybe smaller crowds and mostly outdoor events (less indoor bars etc) helps..?

Only 190 confirmed cases maybe but in reality, there will be many more. I wonder how many people think they've just got a cold or the sniffles? I wonder if up to a third of people are still asymptomatic?

The news says,

I reckon we'll see Drakeford battening down the hatches and preparing for a storm that might be a Tsunami, or it may be something less. Who knows, the experts seem to disagree so how can we know?

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?
