Returns to the club in a mentoring role in the academy and under 23s.
A great appointment in my opinion.
How many budding Leon Brittons the length and breadth of the country have been discarded by dinosaur managers because they have been too small.
Welcome back Leon.
The Swansea way is slowly but surely returning.

Great news as long as he's utilised, he was playing for Ammanford so I'm not sure what happened there ?

They generally play on Friday nights, I assume they only train a few nights a week. I can't see too many clashes personally.

The usual suspects will be along shortly stating ‘jobs for the boys’.

Welcome home Leon.

Wonder why he's not taking an actual coaching role in the academy. Has his A licence iirc, so he's qualified. You'd think that would be the natural step if he wanted to be a positive influence on the development of our young players, rather than inventing a new job title for him.

Part-time role?

I would say so. May be with a view to progressing as you stated.

There's growing speculation that Leon is being brought back in to the fold, by stealth.

Plenty of discontent crept in some weeks ago, and Leon (with the appropriate level of support alongside and above) could be ideally placed should the inevitable happen.

In Leon we trust, to properly play the Swansea Way, effectively and efficiently.

This weekend will be interesting, in so many ways.

The problem for multi millionaire footballers who have looked after their cash is that they have no need to work for relative pennies. Why do the drudgery of a 9 to 5 with £15m i the bank?.

Playing and 3 days a week is just the job.

I guess because he couldn't hold dual registration, I watched him at the start of the season against Briton Ferry , an easier level but still had that air of quality about him
