Where we are uk tourism is very very small, the costas do rely on British tourists, but then that’s not a reflection of the country here, just Blackpool in the sun. 95% of tourism here in Cadiz province is Spanish people coming to the lesser known or unknown areas of this province, well unknown to an extent in the U.K. No streets of pubs, in fact pubs here are rare and in recent years have disappeared. We have loads of traditional bars and restaurants ( venta) beachside locations where the spanish ( who pick their litter up ) rarely get rowdy, Ive never seen a fight, other than a Scotsman meeting the guardia because he was an idiot. It’s a lovely place to visit, that is if your not looking for pub crawls, shouting, singing all night and puking in the street. So here, and for all this area the U.K. matters not. Not least the virus they bring with anti social behaviour and a lack of regard for others.

That sounds like my kinda place. I’ve been to the lesser visited areas especially around Almeria. Our people are filthy who deface their own country with everything from Peroni to pissstained mattresses. A British coastline after fine weather is a terrible sight. Question is why it is tolerated . And yep I envy you

I’ll try not to, but as an aside there are many things that are missed here that the U.K. offers, swings and roundabouts I suppose.

Some of the stories Pegojack posted sound great. Excellent food that's cheap as chips and lovely sense of community if I'm not mistaken?

Back you go on 19:36 - Apr 3 with 619 views | onehunglow | You might remember we were considering buying a place in rural France. Stayed four days with a Swans fan who lived and had business there but the reality was utter isolation . I would have out a shotgun to my head after six months. Spain seemed ok but brexit fecked that idea up. Now resigned to stay in this fecked up soft island of broken dreams

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

It’s very much like when you were a kid, no real danger in our community, people do leave their doors open, and rarely get burgled. 😂 However, I’m British so I do miss a lot that we all once took for granted.
