Yeah, he's a civil servant, we don't have to elect them. Come back when he's a minister....or when the Malthusian crises occurs!

Exactly like Alastair Campbell. It doesn't matter who we vote in, they're all in it for themselves or at the very least, deluded in their ideas.

I don’t know why anyone is surprised, they started their campaign against the terminally ill and disabled ages ago. This is what their growing band of voters want so at least they’re keeping true to their word. One leader, one folk, one reich.

The next war won't be between countries: it'll be between the rich and the poor. For the first time in history the rich don't need the poor to work for them to provide food etc because machines can do that. So if the poor are no longer needed, why keep them? The rich can be born in, say, China. Educated in England. Have a career in America. The poor will stay where they're born whether that land is habitable or not. Imagine if there's a 1-child per family rule in a few years, think it will apply to everyone? Correction, this won't be a 'war', because there can only be one winner.

No, but he’d only been working for Cummings for a matter of weeks. And the whole point of this type of advisor is that they’re supposed to operate quietly in the background.

The “quietly“ bit, he didn’t quite get the hang of that. The classic roadie who dreams of being the lead singer.

There’s more that a wiff of his type in No 10 already. Some of Boris’ past ramblings touch on many of these issues of racial and class supremacy, albeit a little more subtly.

Actually having read today’s Guardian I’d like to retract my post you’d replied to. He hasn’t been doing any grandstanding at all these are just dredged up social media posts culled from threads he took part in six years and more ago when he was a teenager. Shame he doesn’t post on here, he’d provoke some good, multi-page slugfests. He could fill the gaping void left since Mo went awol.

But he wasn't a teenager 6 years ago, and I don't see any evidence that he's changed his racist views.

Six years ago he would have been what? Twenty for the quote you’ve honed in on? Other quotes the media highlight predate that and put him bang in his teens. I don’t come to praise or damn him, Glyn, I don’t know anywhere near enough about him to be honest; but when he claims that the media have quoted selectively then I’ve no problem accepting that the august profession that hacked the phone of a dead child would do exactly that in order to paint any picture their owners want.

Robbins’ role was completely different to Cummings’. And Robbins yielded nothing like the power and influence that Cummings does. Although that’s at least partly because May’s government yielded nothing like the power and influence Johnson’s does. That’s the difference between a minority government and one with a majority of 80.
