I don't know if many of you saw the banner hanging from the bridge on the approach road down from the M4 just before the Away Fans Entrance..I took a picture and will try and post...

But it said ...

BURNLEY FC

NO WELSH FLAG POLICY

? RASCIST

This stems from the Appalling treatment many of us faced last time we went to Burnley on Rembrandt Sunday. Last November....

The Highly Unpleasant So called Head if Security..a little bald man from outside the Burnley area ( judging by his Merseyside accent) Stood outside and demanded all Swans Fans take off flags banners etc and take them back to cars coaches etc...

I asked to speak to him and pointed out that Having been to almost all Prem and Championship Away Grounds I had never experienced such a "Policy " and showed him the Burnley Clubs own website with terms and Conditions..which allows flags of a certain size ( obviously excluding defamatory material)..His response was to try and exclude entry for me and my son in his 2p s whi has severe Learning disabilities..and was already in tears Having had his Welsh flag stripped off him ) I p
There was a believe one fan who had a Banner Commemorating Welsh Service Personel who had given ghee lives for the freedom of all in the UK who was similarly treated despite pointing out thus fact to the BFC Head ...

It was such a shame as generally Burnley Fans are great people ..those of you who have drunk in the Cricket Club before and after the game will no doubt agree.

As Chairman of The Northern Jackson, I wrote to BFC CEO. Chairman and copied it to SCFC. Burnley and Swansea MP s ..but failed to get any response...Little wonder then that direct legal protest will continue.

Please contact me if you had similar experiences or wish to assist his Campaign to hold BFC to account

That is awful, I'm sorry you and your son had to go through such a terrible incident, its awful you had no response off Burnley, Swansea or MP's.

Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.

Starnge club statement says no Palestine or Israel flags.

Should be rolled out to all UK clubs; the likes of Celtic and Liverpool always fly Palestine flags.

Union Jacks, Welsh, Scottish, and Northern Ireland flags should be allowed in every ground.
