Could have been offered a 12month pay as you play deal as an insurance policy with a clause to trigger an automatic extension on guaranteed wages for a further 12-24 months based on appearances.

It’s devils advocate Isn’t it if we did and he broke down we would be furious with the owners.
Letting him go was good business no matter what.
Look at the nfl for instance their rosters are precious every single place.

There were times when he looked as if some of his challenges were a bit rash when he played for us, may have been trying too hard, leaving himself exposed in the tackle.
Hope he does well as long as it doesn't have a bad affect us in anyway, for example our league position compared to Luton and definitely not in games against them. | | | |
