I went to Iceland about 6 years ago and absolutely nothing is cheap mate, there are no cheap bars you can buy cheapish beer, food etc...at the airport when you land but can only buy a certain amount of stuff to take out of the airport. Reykjavik has a weird little punk museum and is nothing more than a very small town compared to the UK [Post edited 9 Feb 2024 17:13]

If you are going to the thermal pools give the over priced tourist ones a miss and go to Laugardalslaug walking distance in Reykjavik its where the local people go and the heat from some of those pools is so hot a couple of minutes in there and you have to get out. | |
