Its his human right in it, he didn't give a hoot for his victims rights.
On your second point :- there's a notoriety aspect his wife can sell her story and make a nice little earner for herself and may even get invited to tell her story on some daily program, totally and utterly immoral in which ever way you look at it

On your third point :- no argument there from me.

Human Rights end when you slaughter a fellow human being . It’s my old narrative of how Barristers can sleep at night. Yes,of course, one has to have a defence counsel BUT to earn a living doing so encountering people like Bellfield is beyond this correspondence . I had these discussions with Jonalot and others but I stand by every word .

1. It's allowed because society/morals/common sense has eroded to sewer-filth standards.
You see anything goes and is acceptable nowadays. Hence for example the existence of 'university and press/media innocence fraud campaigns' where a 'bleeding bloody obvious' guilty verdict and victims families guilty verdict satisfaction and their praise for police no longer matters, and where lies and irrelevance are deemed perfectly acceptable to support innocence fraud scams.
2. Ahhhhhhh women who love murderers! Aye, the very 'sicko' types who send fan mail to women/child killers in prison? A condition called 'Hybristophilia' whereupon some women completely ignore the pure evil of absolute pond-life. A child's suffering and life matters not one jot! Nothing a bit of home cooking can't cure hey?
Had a load of that down these parts with the Dai Morris campaign and that silly woman from Llangennech becoming Ian Brady's confidante and advocate. The torturing child killer was so deserving of someone else's empathy hey????
3. His likes will never be executed because we live in a day and age where it is perfectly acceptable to portray evil doer's as victims. There is a whole army of: the looney left, human rights brigade, filthy lucre legal profession and naive gullible university lecturer type(s) waiting in the wings with their anti-police agenda(s). So indeed in the minds of some? Bellfields antics are a welcome way of getting back at the police and justice itself.
Argus!

I hate you Wing. That is simply the “ best” post ever posted here. Nobody can argue with the morality of that nor of the common sense that we lack.
Monsters ,whether created by society or not, should be wiped out. They prey on the good then use society and it’s pitiful guilty complex to defend them. Most murderers regret only being caught, rapists too.

It’s said Richard Ramirez used to get a thousand love letters a day despite being convicted of breaking into old grannies homes at night and raping and murdering them.
He was good looking though, can’t understand why anyone would want to get porked by Belfield?

Exactly. Partly because his legal team will have worked tirelessly to build the best possible defence.
This means (thankfull) that the conviction is as solid as possible. That’s the justice system. It’s something we do incredibly well.
It’s frightening the numbers on here who’d do away with it and let the police just fill people in they don’t like the look of, or execute people without a defence.
It’s like the vigilante version of Minority Report.

I wouldn't have any problem in executing people like Bellfield.
And now we have another with the Nottingham slayings, what is the point of locking him up until he dies.
In cases like this capital punishment is justified
You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

No! Not because I’m against the death penalty on humanitarian grounds but because they deserve to suffer. Daily. And painfully.
They won't suffer though. They will be well fed, protected and given some of life's little luxuries. They lose their freedom yes but that is about it, otherwise they are spoiled by hw much they get, considering their crimes.
I'd be ahhpy to see certain crimes punished by death as long as the evidence was overwhelming and there really was no doubt.

Death is the easy way out. Just don’t protect them inside.
Of course, human rights and all that would put paid to my plans for sure.

Death is the only way out morally. These monsters should never come out when the affected families are still broken. Think of the Moors Murderers case Unforgivable Brady and Hinckley were allowed to live Brady wanted to die and it was “ cruel” to keep him alive
Just to put things into perspective this is how France treated its criminal fraternity years ago. Perhaps in hindsight we have become too soft and need to make conditions harsher . This location was on my flight path once and as I looked out of the window of the plane and watched the electronic on board map I couldn't help thinking of those unfortunates . If ever there was a prison that was the ideal location in stopping escapees this was it .

I spent some time on a work exchange in Lyon. With the Gendarmerie . It was enlightening I’ve been stopped and breathalyser too in Montauban by them and,it’s not like here You don’t pluck around with the Gerdarmerie mainly as they represent the Republic of France . Insult them, you insult France . Their Discipline Dept would shock our Professional Standard folk.

I took a bus journey through Lyon once it was in the eighties - it was it seemed a place of decaying large industry.
P.S the video above does work if you click on the you tube link.

on a bus sounds like a good idea but at the time not so nice on occasions . I took a journey from London to Athens . The weather got increasingly hot there were two Greek drivers who took it in turns and kept themselves awake through chain smoking . one in the cargo hold asleep while the other driving . They were very reluctant to stop we complained about not having drink stops. I remember clearly once at night the driver momentarily nodding off at the wheel and then suddenly waking up when the cigarette burnt his lip The passengers were watching him and started to sing to keep him awake . it was petrifying . The drivers drove very fast and spoke broken English only. Took I think it was 3 and a half days to get to Athens . I then caught a boat from Piraeus to Crete It was that hot I slept on the deck -no cabins booked in any case . Crazy days
