Connor Roberts on 18:22 - May 22 with 2043 views | KeithHaynes | Connor would always be an option for the swans but at 2.5 million leaving us, he wouldn’t be much more than 1.5 to return.

Weren’t there rumours that his family were finding it difficult to settle in the Burnley area? | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Connor Roberts on 18:40 - May 22 with 1985 views | heatwave | Chances nil I would say. As his wages are far higher than we offer even if he has a clause in his contract regarding relegation.
Connor Roberts on 18:42 - May 22 with 1978 views | jasper_T | You'd think they'll have to shift either him or Lowton.
Connor Roberts on 19:03 - May 22 with 1926 views | majorraglan | I think his wages will be too much for the Swans, Burnley may be in a bit of financial trouble but they will have the parachute payments for 3 seasons. If he moves it will be to another Premier League team

Can see another Premier League club coming in for him, he's done well for Burnley once he started getting picked,

Connor Roberts on 20:14 - May 22 with 1729 views | Sirjohnalot | If his family, and especially his wife are home loving people, he may agree to reduced wages. He comes across as a level headed chap, he’s set up financially for life, I guess it comes down to how rich you want to be,. Obviously he’ll want to play in the Prem, but if he was in the championship, you wonder how much pressure may come from his wife ? Realistically, he’s probably not coming back but, who knows ?

I can't see it myself, I think he'll find another club in the Prem or stay where he is unless Burnley get offers, Fulham maybe seeing as Carvalho is off, I know Carvalho is not a wingback as such, more of an out and out winger, but Conner could be an excellent replacement for him.

Fulham are signing Ryan Fredericks.
Connor Roberts on 20:37 - May 22 with 1672 views | 73__73 | He’s reportedly on £37,000 a week. He’d have to take probably a million pound a season reduction in wages.....no one in their right mind are going to do that.

Selling cork for 5 million and replacing him with Clucas for 16 million has to be the stupidest idea since Abraham Lincolns wife said “fancy a night at the theatre darling?”

Swansea got a decent fee for Cork. £8m rising to £10m is quoted. That particular transfer window was disastrous. Only Benda remains out of about 12 incomings and none of the performed even at u23 level. David leadbetter was head of recruitment with two assistants.

Sold Cork for £8M rising to £10M and signed Clucas £16M reducing to £6M you figure.
