Wales U17 have topped their group out in Croatia to reach the 'elite' round of qualifiers, they beat Croatia 2-0 out there, got an amazing 3-3 against top ranked Sweden with a 99th minute equaliser and today got a 0-0 draw with Albania to top the group.

Lets see how the u16 get along in the Centenary shield in Ireland next week.
They have 6 Swans and no Cardiff including a couple of player who featured in the Swansea u18 last week. The U17 had 8-9 Cardiff and only 2 Swansea players. The u19 have done OK but should have done better with the quality they had. They also beat Croatia in Croatia then inexplicably got thrashed 6-0 by Austra who lost to Croatia. Congreve Lloyd Cotterill were in that squad.
One u18 lad from Fulham Luke Harris is already in Page's squad and subject to a £30m enquiry from Chelsea.

As we know it’s all about successful academy progress in to the first team, something our nearest and dearest neighbours only seem to achieve via local journalism in Cardiff who continue to push players who have absolutely no comparable skills base to the players Swansea have developed over the years. |  |

Its not just stability , they're years behind in youth development . their best youth player atm in how many years is Colwill and currently its Mark Harris who hasn't exactly set the world on fire and imo wouldn't get in our team , squad probably so . |  |
