4-0 down to Arsenal with half hour remaining.

I reckon they are already in trouble, a relegation is most likely and all that debt they have incurred will bite them hard.

People complain about our owners but their financial plan has certainly kept us viable.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Will fan-favourite Super-Stevie Cooper still be with them when we play them next year? 🤣🤣

Steve Cooper - park the bus 25% possession football isn't going to win you points in the Premier League. All the big boys are more vulnerable if you actually go and attack them. Steve Cooper will probably have similar career to Warnock, good at Championship, but not top flight.

Even when you know, you never know?

I know it doesn’t mean much these days but haven’t they extended his contract?

Oh… 5-0 now.

That’s a bit of a defeatist attitude to our prospects… mind you I voted in another thread that I didn’t think we are going up automatically

Arsenal are one of the best teams in the Premiership and would be expected to win and as with Man City if you start chasing the game you will be punished.
If Cooper can get his team right I would expect it to be competitive just as he did with us. But sometimes it is hard to find and maintain a standard especially in the Premiership

… and some on here would use stats to argue to the end of the earth and back that he’s a footballing messiah.

Leicester thumped them & also lost to Fulham & Bournemouth so it’s not just about Arsenal & Man City.

I don’t get the Cooper love in by some of our fans.

But Fulham and Bournemouth must be better than Forest because they had better teams in the Championsh and finished in the automatic promotion place.
False logic isn't it.
I'm not a Cooper lover but I just tried to give a balanced view, think he is a good coach at Championship level yet to find his feet as a coach in the Premiership.
I don't really care how Cooper does one way or another, why because he is no longer the Swansea coach except do think it is nice having a number of coaches in the Premiership who have been at Swansea because of our footballing heritage.

He coaches horrible football.

Has he come out and publicly blamed the players yet? Shithouse manager with shithouse tactics, but I wish him all the best.

He criticised them for the (lack of) effort and intensity in his post match MotD interview. He also use the word(s) non-negotiables.

Not sure what the injury situation is at Forest, but he seems to be persisting with Championship centre halves, which will be their downfall.

I think I'd rather 'trust the process'. Both are pretty excruciating ......

Nice to see Coops reverting to type though.

Is there a case that the English national coaching setup nullifies youthful talent as players grow older because they seem to think there is a set way for teams to play to win and cannot accommodate an individual talents in the team and hence the inability to reach England's full potential with the players at their disposal.

Coaching by numbers. We have seen it to different degrees with Potter, Cooper and
Martin.
