They're excellent.

I've got no idea what model we've got but the Mrs bought it from lidl. Cheap as chips too.

We have one and it’s very good, but we (particularly the wife) have a tendency to use our main oven.

Hot the Ninja 551 Air Max Health grill - RRP is about £250 but got it for £170 on offer. Chips are ace.

I love my slow cooker and we have often said we should get a hot air fryer, using them both is cheaper than using the main oven too.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Cook a joint of beef and it debones itself , really tender but add a little water or stock as it cook become a little dry . Air fryers are well worth the investment imo , the missus nearly all the meat in ours

I cook meat overnight in the slow cooker, with a bit of stock. I par boil some veggies and chuck them in for a couple of hours in the morning and that a proper cooked meal with the tenderest meat and firm veg (the way I like it) then, once we've taken what we want, chop the rest off the meat up, chuck in some thick stock and you end up with a stew. Cracking in the winter.

I must seriously look at an air fryer though.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Got an Actifry, a slow cooker….and the new toy is a Remoska. Out of them all I’d rate the Remoska first, then the slow cooker and finally the Actifry.
Benefit of the Remoska is very low power usage. Whatever you cook in an oven you can cook in the Remoska. Excellent results so far.

Only one way to cook Chippies is in a deep pan with oil, we got a Ninja Air Fryer but the difference is clear.

I have slated the taste of chips cooked via deep fried v air fryer, and previously what have said, deep fried are way better.

But after reading a bit today about the procedure for cooking chips in an air fryer, perhaps the missis was doing them wrong.

There looks a bit more to it, than just chucking them in the air fryer, and a couple of spoons of oil and and a shake!!

The ones who rave about the taste, are soaking the potatoes first, using a bowl and adding oil and mixing it really well before putting it in air fryer.

libera nos a malo

I was also advised to use virgin oil rather than vegetable oil.
I will try your advice plus use virgin oil and report back
