He had 2 D's and a B, and went on to say he already had been offered a place on those results

The way kids are cajoled to go to Uni and accumalate debt is obscene.
Son went and was hounded for years to do so as it helps the school stats
Daughter the same but didnt go and started work at 16.No debt .No worries .She's done just fine. | |

Gaming is a bit harsh but certainly inflation was a massive issues and this year needed a reset.
Mind you, if you took away private and grammar schools who were by far the worst ‘gamers’ it doesn’t read all that badly.

It’s very likely the previous cohort knuckled down and got some real revision done during lockdown and turned in some impressive work.
The crucial period came for this lot just as restrictions were eased and many of them would have been running around like pit ponies brought up for Spring when they should have been hitting the books. |  |
