Somehow it hasn’t hit me that way. He’s been a proper character - drink, drugs and women - not quite the George Best of Cricket but someone who liked to live fast. Rest in Peace Shane.

Shockingly sad, I'd just finished a job jumped in Van and guy talking on radio was mentioning the miracle ball he bowled, then they said that he had passed away and a shiver went through me, I nearly crashed the Van, what a Cricketer and a Man, he'll be greatly missed and not just in the world of Cricket, the word Legend gets banded about for to often, but Shane Warne was a genuine Legend.

When I was in Uni around 97, Glammy were playing Oz, he wasn’t playing but sat on the other side of the boundary signing autographs for hours for the kids. Always remember him applauding KP when he scored the match winning innings in the ashes too.
