If it was the US invading Russia, then Russia would probably win. I doubt the Americans would make the same mistake of underestimating the Russian winter that everyone from Napoleon to Hitler did, but on their own turf, with the likely geurilla style tactics, Russia would be strong favourites. As the US would be if the field of battle were reversed.
Tech Vs Tech on neutral ground then the US would win easily. Let's face it, they wouldn't need radar to find Russia's main aircraft carrier. They could just look for the smoke.

No they lost because when they were about to overrun Moscow Hitler changed tact against the advise of the German generals who protested vigorously, the idiot decided to put on hold the taking of Moscow and start another attack on the south losing all momentum that is the reason they lost, by the time the winter weather started setting in Hitler had already fcuked everything up, the war was lost the moment he delayed taking Moscow.
