Mobile phone support for a technophobe please 🙠23:29 - Jun 1 with 536 views | Gwyn737 | Bit of help please…. I’m looking for a really simple mobile for my elderly dad. Did some research and this be looks tidy: https://www.argos.co.uk/product/8796550 I’ve only ever had contact mobiles so I’ve no idea how sim free works? How do I get him up and running on O2 which is the only network (I think) that has coverage where he lives? Thanks in advance 😀

As far as up and running is concerned, just get an o2 sim from one of the larger supermarkets or the o2 shop. A few years ago, when I picked up a sim free from argos, you could choose what sim you wanted, a choice of the top providers. Or you could order one from 02 https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/sim-cards/pay-as-you-go
