I've said many times before that at the start I thought it was good, show solidarity and all that, but does it need to carry on? I find it quite weird because we have done this for god knows how long, but some of our fans were complaining on social media we were displaying poppies two weeks after 11/11 Weird

Why would they do that and who exactly are "they"?

again who are they and do they put a gun to their heads whilst carrying out the dirty deed ? We still (atm) have freedom of choice in this country so I'm not sure what point you're trying to make

If you want to do certain jobs you have to swear allegiance to a person or you can't do the job, that does not sound like freedom of choice, it's a choice but not freedom to persue a career of choice without forced to swear allegiance to an individual.

This taking the knee gesture at the start of games on 13:47 - Dec 3 with 979 views | ReslovenSwan1 | I tend to object to pseudo compulsory obligations applied by other people to me. I would not be happy kneeing because it it not clear what it means. Kaspercic ?the gentleman involved kneed during the US national anthem compalaining about police brutality against black in the US. Taking the knee in the UK is not a clear message. Should I do it during GSTQ or MHWYH for example? I have no person issues with the SW Constabulary.

A bit like you want to be a surgeon but then become a bit miffed because you haven't passed your medical exams. I believe its called terms and conditions of employment, you maybe surprised to learn that all jobs have them.

People that are more than adequately qualified turned down for not swearing allegiance to a monarch is not the same thing as not being qualified to do a job.

If individuals are that anti monarchy then perhaps the armed forces or the Police is the correct career choice for them (excluding the marines and Navy of course) Do you honestly believe that by requiring an oath to be taken has prevented individuals from following a career path , again it's all about terms and conditions.

This taking the knee gesture at the start of games on 17:33 - Dec 3 with 873 views | Catullus | What irritates me more is the kneeling and then a black power salute too. We want equality and fair treatment for all not people proclaiming black power, it'll only serve to wind up those pesky white supremacists. Punish the racists don't just talk about it, do it. I reckon anyone caught and found guilty (in a sports ground) of being racist should get a lifetime ban from all sports events. Any sportsperson found guilty again, lifetime ban from that sport and all sports stadia. FIFA and UEFA should kick out any team whose fans or players are caught, investigated and found guilty, ban them for the following season too and then double the punishment if they return and it happens again. We've talked enough, action is needed.

Ban a team for fans racist behaviour like fans of English teams chanting about sheep to fans of a Welsh team you mean ? So automatic relegation, other teams might sue for loss of revenue for them not fulfilling their fixtures, fans might demand their season ticket money back, sponsors might sue. Is been racist even illegal ?, does the punishment fit the crime if they do what you suggest ?

A lot of that is just infatuation with the UK's love of being World War Warriors. Thankfully those days are long behind us and when Brexit strangles the economic life out of us we can try and enjoy finding an ounce of humility and start coming to terms with our place in the world. Way down the pecking order. As for the knee. I do it every game myself ✊
