Is this as close as we get to a 4-4-2 line-up, with Niki just behind Charlie? I guess it is really 4-5-1 with a sort-of diamond thing going (more like 4-2-3-1) with Phillips and O'Neill playing as wide-men and Niki as the high midfielder in front of Barton and Jenas as the defensive midfielders. There doesn't seem like there is a huge amount of speed in this side. | |

It will be Krank and Phillips on the wings with Jenas playing behind Charlie I would have thought, that's what Harry's done last few games.
Jenas looks a lot better further up, but would still rather see Niko there. |  | | |

I would like this line-up much more if Johnson was in there instead of Jenas. lets face it, Jenas isn't going to add much defensively or attackingly, so why not? Putting Johnson beside Charlie, with Kranj and Barton feeding them, sounds like a recipe for goals. | |
