Hi Balsall

Yes, a Happy New Year to all RZ'ers and Rams fans everywhere!

2013 is shaping up like the past 4 seasons - inconsistent, honest, unthreatening, unconvincing.

Clough has amassed an honest, disciplined bunch of lads at last and a Cup run would be useful for a bit of spice for the fans and some revenue - the Cups have often been an embarrassment since the turn of the century.

Key questions are for Mr Rush - how will he re-energise the club, attract fans back and eliminate the supporter scepticism that resides there, in that the owners merely want to plod on safe and static in the 2nd tier?

It's a FOOTBALL club gentlemen, not a networking base.

Over to you, Sam....

2013 should be a good year for the Rams if GSE don't cash in on young talent, so that the team can grow together & gain experience.

If the club was ambitious it would be looking to add 2 experienced ex-Prem or Championship quality players NOW: a midfield driving force and a greedy & ruthless goalscorer.

The top teams either have such players or are trying to get them.

We might just wait five more years and be continually rebuilding with young/unproven talent at the current rate if our best players are traken by more ambitious clubs.
