The simple fact is he has never been able to comand a starting place in the team week in week out, wether that be in league one or league two. Hes had enough chances but for some reason a minority of fans always seem to find a excuse for the lad. From what i have seen, he isnt good enough.
Some have even suggested he is good enough to play in the Chamionship (Barnsley), how that conclusion is reached amazes me !! He can show a few good flashes of talent but his overall contribution to a game is normally minimal. |  | |  |

If he gets tackled in the first 5 minutes you might as well take him off. His head will go down and that's him finished for the afternoon.
Well built but hasn't a clue how to use his physique. Bit like the British weather - mostly awful but shows occasional signs of something decent. |  |

With being off work the last few days (conjunctivitis  ) I know where we can get it.
If say 5 of us agree to have a little 'accident' at work, we will soon have the money!
Either that or other options include selling your grans gold or claiming her pension, sorry I Mean her PPI back.

I don't think Grant would cost £100,000. Our bid was probably viewed as being so low that thy came back with an OTT valuation. £50,000, some of which were add ons and a sell on clause would probably see the deal through. My only fear would be if Grant is seen as being the only solution up front. | | | |

I know a few people don't rate JT but the fact is that we are a man lighter if this comes off and IMO Joe is a better than average L2 player (which is backed up by him signing for a L1 club).
We need to replace him with the same calibre player and we have to do it in just over a week. |  | | |

I'll be sad to see JT go, but I think its best for all parties concerned if he does move on. It doesn't surprise me that he's been targeted by club in a higher league than us. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]
