Would be a clear sign of their ambition. If we’re looking for comfortable mid table next season, I think he’ll be fine. If we’re looking to challenge, it would be an underwhelming appointment for me.

Experience doesn't guarantee success ,just at what Tosh or even Rodgers achieved. The next few matches will give a better indication of how he'll do .

We will have to see if the two new coaches make any difference in the relatively short time they have. Richard Stearman has very limited experience but Mark Fotheringham has a bit more. I hope they were Sheehan's choices as he clearly decided that the coaching was lacking in areas. One thing I do not want is another transition season, this has been going on for long enough. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

It’s not the experience I’m talking about, it’s the football. Martinez had no experience. The way we’ve played under Sheehan may be a nice relief from Luke Williams’ style, but it’s very run of the mill. Particularly the last two games. It’s the type of football that will keep you up easily enough but won’t really get you anywhere. In all fairness to Sheehan, his brief is probably just to steer us to safety and I’m sure he’ll do that comfortably. The squad has a few big holes as well. Possibly we’d play a bit differently with a few new players in August and no immediate relegation threat

100% agree with your last sentence. Feels like it’s every season.
Sheehan gets his way and gets his position clarified on 18:35 - Mar 25 with 1956 views | QJumpingJack | I wonder when this will get officially announced. Solihull are playing this evening at Altrincham. I wish the coaching staff all the very best. Leeds will be very difficult and the team will need to be on their A game. If not, we could be hammered.
Sheehan gets his way and gets his position clarified on 19:05 - Mar 25 with 1880 views | KeithHaynes | Apparently the club are waiting for the internationals to finish so we will hear something tomorrow or Thursday when Sheehan does his pre match thingy before travelling up on Friday. However, this continual fragmented approach isn’t helping.

If Josh was his son he would have fathered him at 11 and he would be playing for Ireland not Wales.

Fragmented indeed, then again its been most fragmented over the last 5/6yrs one shambles leading to more shambles, Colemans tenure as been a complete shambles especially since these never owners/investors have taken over.

You are right Max since 2016 it has been a shambles but in fairness to the latest owners they have only been in situ since the end of November. Since then ( 4 months including the Christmas holiday period) they have sacked a failing manager appointed DoF and COO both with experience ( the level of which is a source of debate) of British football and the EFL and have "removed" a chairman for whom many of the fanbase had no faith in. The club is and has been a shambles but let's not tar the current owners with the same brush as their predecessors yet let's give them at least a year not just a few months. That said I am concerned about the trajectory the club is on...the weakening on and off the field which has been the case since 2016. When the sellouts rescued the club from the clutches of Pettty so much was said of how it would never happen again. With the Trust as part of things many if us believed this until the sellouts shafted the Trust in korder to line thier pockets.
