Yet another issue for Wales, this really is beyond a joke. Never mind in the next election the extra members will sort our our problems.

You should not call people with a different perspective to you and "idiot". It is against the site rules and disrespectful. You require a wit to do this with humour.

Low incoming investment is due to poor trading conditions not poor infrastructure. This was caused by Brexit and loss of tax free trading with 500m of our neighbours. Welsh labour warned the Welsh population but the voter sided with the Tory Eurosceptics who gave not delivered.

They after 9 years have no where to go. Blaming the WAG will not wash. NPT steelworks had a long term strategy. Coal from Merthyr shut the furnaces 2024 jobs to go in to Ineos at Bridgend. The workers were looked after. Then the workers took a punt and lost.

You see the decision was given the the people and they were easy meat. The morale of the people finding investment must have been devastating. "What is the effing point" might have been said.

Take a drive out of Wales, sunshine—you only need to follow the Avonmouth spur to see the sheer number of jobs being created.

Merthyr has an abundance of coal, yet we continue to import it just to maintain appearances, all while causing even greater harm to the environment.

People make their own choices when voting for Labour, but when it comes to Brexit, they’re supposedly brainwashed—right, of course.

As I’ve said, the fools on this forum see nothing wrong with Welsh Labour and constantly spout nonsense to defend them.

Wanting the best for my country makes me far more Welsh than the narrow-minded types who sit back and take all that Welsh Labour do to take it backwards.

Anyway, back to not responding to the likes of you.

The usual suspects always blame the Welsh Govetnment.

When used as an insult, "dim" means stupid, slow-witted, or lacking in intelligence. So maybe when calling others out you should think about what you post too?

Poor infrastructure is part of the poor conditions, business wants quick and reliable transport routes, it doesn't want its good held up on motorways for hours on ebd every day. The Brynglas tunnels are a big problem.

After 9 years you say, what about the 25 years plus of the Welsh government? And since Brexit we have had the Ukraine war and the massive effect that has had on prices and trade.

The problem isn' the lack of jobs, it's the quality of the jobs and people on low wages cannot afford mortgages. In 2015 the unemployment rate in Wales was 5.4% so does anyone want to guess what the unemployment rate was in Wales in January this year?

The steel works was always going to lose the furnace, part of Westminsters drive to net zero and the Senedd's drive to get emissions down combined with Tata wanting to reduce costs, it was always going to be relocated so the greedy can make even more profit.

So it is the fault of Brexit, yet it has had a bigger impact in Wales than the rest of the UK. It must be only Wales that left the EU. Just more nonsense.

Its had a massive impact right across the uk.

It is a loss of business every single year.
Its not an event thats been and gone.

As always its the poorest people are hit hardest, and its not just Wales.

I think those who never venture out of Wales see it differently from the rest of us.

Wales voted for Brexit, so I am unsure why this is continuously brought up by the forum idiot.

Wales is the graveyard of ambition with Welsh labour.

Worse NHS
Worse education
No incoming investment due to poor infrastructure.

But let's blame everyone else, bar those making the decisions.

Have the feck do you know who travels out of wales the most ?

Absolutely! Since Thatcher helped decimate this country things have been getting worse jobs wise.

Brexit, costing the Uk £37 billion a year in lost trade. where's the £350 million per week, Nigel Mirage said would be going to the NHS?

Billions wasted on dodgy PPE and test and trace, £700 millions wasted on Rwanda, and of course the HS2 scheme. Truss's disastrous £30 billion budget

Yes, it's about Wales, but when you look at the alternative that was in Westminster, we aren't so incompetent after all

Why have Tata steel recently invested hugely in Somerset rather than Port Talbot ?

Clue; English tory government looks after its English tory voters.

Wales is an after-thought for a London based government.
We can do better.

Your trust in London to look after Wales is touchingly loyal, but hugely misplaced.

Interesting many modern high tech jobs do not depend on lugging heavy objects up and down the M4.

FinTech Wales is a modern example.
Internet essential, but big lorries carrying stuff from A to B …. Well not so much ….

We all want better transport hence i am sure you will be as upset as i am over the UK government using untruths to avoid giving Wales billions in consequential funding for HS2, which both Scotland and the north of Ireland both received.
Thank you for the support.

Brynglass Tunnels, no relief road, look at the difficulty it is getting from the bridge to Port Talbot

Modern, high tech jobs still need good infrastructure, high speed internet to start with.

Why do you keep repeating the same tired old nonsense, yes the HS2 thing is total BS and should be rectified but Labour in London, what are they doing, apparently not supporting Labour in Wales. We know this so you don't need to keep repeating it as if others don't agree.

PS, how many high tech jobs are there in Wales? Clue, 3% of the workforce, why is it such a small number?

Because Westminster UK government cares nothing/no much for Wales ?

And the question of poor transport in wales was raised in respect to the M4 Brynglas situation.
Most people will feel that the billions denied Wales by HS2 could, perhaps, make some oositive impact both there and elsewhere in Wales.
Wales shoukd not have to beg like a dog for fairnes, it should be willing given in any healthy union.

See decisions in politics do have real life consequences.

The Senedd says Wales has too many hospitals, too many beds. The Senedd sends millions abroad so other countries can plant trees then tells Welsh people we are broke. The Senedd is spending millions increasing its size when schools are suffering, while violent crime is worse in Wales than the rest of the UK and our council tax bills are rising ahead of inflation.

Because the Senedd cares for Wales? It cares for Cardiff, it cares for itself but Wales? We're just the mugs that pay their wages.

Straight question for you - do you believe that HS2 should have been designated an England and Wakes scheme ….even though not one inch of track is in Wales ?

Clue : both Scotland and the north of Ireland got consequential extra funding.

‘the statement on funding policy now states that Northern Ireland will now get the full consequential, £1.89bn, and Scotland will get £5.49bn …. but Wales will get nothing’.
There may well be later and higher figures down to overspend.

If it feels like Wales is getting shafted, then its because we are.

These are huge amounts that would deliver us better transport in Wales.

You do not blame the House of commons for Starmer and the Labour Government so why do it for the Senedd?

The Senedd never said there were too many hospitals.
Drakeford said it as a economic matter. It was probably true but I'll advised for PR purposes..

The money sent abroad is small but good international relations It counts in the long term.

It is the Welsh people that vote Labour and Welsh people that voted for Brexit. The Senedd is representative of the will of the people. If you do not like their decisions blame the voters.

I do not accept the idea that Welsh people cannot run their own affairs . You appear tto want Wales run from south east England.

Reform and the predecessors gave done enough damage. They are some use as a pressure group probably. Labour have repatriated 19,000 migrants according to the home office.
