Coleman’s future becomes clearer & Harry Darling deal will be offered on 08:54 - Mar 15 with 1199 views | Whiterockin | I'm glad to see that the owners have taken the action to remove Coleman. They have realised fairly quickly, what we have all said, that he is clearly not up to the job. We need a football Chairman/Chief Executive like Julian Winter was. Without this type of appointment we will continue to struggle, a key decision to be made, I just hope they get it right.

Running a Championship club is difficult, we need someone who has either very good knowledge and skills or enough understanding to build the right team and learn from others. Plenty of people who are successful in other sectors have come unstuck at football clubs

Coleman’s future becomes clearer & Harry Darling deal will be offered on 09:52 - Mar 15 with 1024 views | johnlangy | 'we most certainly believe that Swansea City will be in a much stronger position players and asset wise at the end of this summer period'. This is all we want. And not a splurge of money either (not that we can because of FFP). Just to have something positive happen in the Summer so we can look ahead to next season with some confidence. After the last four or five years that's not much to ask is it ?

He's friendly with Nigel Morris and was the one that introduced Morris to the club. I doubt MM would be interested though. The club should be looking at involving Morgans boy and his mate in the club, if only at a very low level because these guys could be the future of the club if they carry on their projectory.

I reckon when Montague walked into the club and saw the shambolic way the club was being run he knew change was needed and probably got on the phone to Cravatt and Colemans lack of ability to run the club came to the fore. Hopefully get a football man in now to sort out the shambles and run us as it should be run.

I don't think another Julian Winter is the answer, myself.

The Trevor Birches of this world are like rocking horse shit, I doubt we'd get anyone with his football acumen here again, you can see how well he's thought of by the position he is in now. And it's not because he walked into a pub full of Swans fans and bought a round, as one poster posted.

Coleman’s future becomes clearer & Harry Darling deal will be offered on 10:55 - Mar 15 with 802 views | nantywatcher | I have been critical of AC more or less from day one, and his departure is long overdue. The millions he has lost the club during his term is quite frightening and I would be gutted if he has walked out of this with all his original funds in place. His naivety in some matters has been quite bewildering particularly the mind-blowing deal extended to LW, and his lack of strength in ridding us of LW many weeks earlier. His Mini-Musk efforts of cutting costs most certainly has had an effect on morale within the stadium. I wish him no harm but hope he does not leave without offering his heart felt apologies for his somewhat woeful performance.

I think he'll just wander off with his tail between his legs after being totally out of his depth and had to be ousted by the other investors.

Agreed, he wouldn’t want it I don’t think. Wasn’t he the major investor in PL games but preferred to leave the chairmanship to Huw? As with his offspring and Jackson Quinn. They are wealthy but I’m not sure they are what the club needs or wants. Charlie Morgan more so but even then. Quinn’s father has a serious amount of money behind him also but I’d doubt if it’s enough to have a football club as a plaything.

Id be surprised if MM takes over, he's got enough business interests to take care of without being Chairman of the club, which is to be honest a full time job.

In recent times a strong vice chairman would have been a godsend.
Coleman’s future becomes clearer & Harry Darling deal will be offered on 14:52 - Mar 15 with 399 views | ReslovenSwan1 | I could see some logic in his appointment providing it was long term and he was given time to learn in the job. Now the growing pains and lessons are irrelevant. Huw had a bad couple of years but offered a long term vision and consistency. I believe he would have turned the club around. Some useless committee associated with the club wanted him out when for the first time the waters got rough... Whatever Coleman learned is to the benefit of DC United perhaps. He has his money in the club. [Post edited 15 Mar 15:24]

which committee? It wasn't the Trust as they were very supportive of Huw.

and if you watch All or Nothing: Leeds United on Prime Video - the episode around Daniel James - you should be able to work out why Mr Jenkins left the club. Interesting on twitter/x that Leigh Dineen has been very critical of Coleman in the last 24 hours.
