Snake oil salesman. New wind turbines for Wales? 12:19 - Mar 13 with 144 viewsReslovenSwan1

https://nation.cymru/news/concerns-raised-over-announcement-that-600m-will-be-in

Wales is getting dumped on by these wind farms particularly off shore ones and all the benefits are going to the Crown Estate and King Charles.

It is being presented as good news for Wales with very few construction jobs and even less permanent jobs.

I am pro Wind and sustainability but Wales has to benefit from the loss of our great scenery with turbines and associated pylons . A project was turned down in the Bychynau bannau (BreconBeacons) recently. These projects will keep coming.

Same old crap, local jobs for local people .

All the pain for the Welsh all the gain for the state and the King.

We do not need these sort of jobs.

When you consider that each wind turbine costs around £3M and can be fabricated anywhere £600M may not have a huge impact on Welsh jobs.
As the article points out there's absolutely no detail available.
