Swansea City v Burnley : Match day thread on 09:11 - Mar 13 with 3179 views | Whiterockin | Personally I'm not optimistic about this one, we are up against one of the very best teams in the division. Plus I think our players will be exhausted. They worked very hard last night right up to the final minute, throw in not getting back until the early hours this morning and in 48 hours we go again. Meanwhile Burnley were home on Tuesday and had an extra day's rest. I would be over the moon with a 0-0, but I'm expecting a defeat. Low crowd again probably with it being super Saturday with the rugby.

Agree, tiredness will become a factor, as it's now been the same team baring the enforced changes due to injury in the last 4 games. It will be a draining game and yes 0-0 at best.
Swansea City v Burnley : Match day thread on 10:46 - Mar 13 with 3094 views | vetchonian | If Darling isn't fit who plays instead of Delcroix? Christie hasn't looked assured at centre back on his few appearances there. Could be a bad day at the office for us as Burnley are doing well. I'd take a point now

If Christie starts we are doomed. I hope Keith is right about Darling.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Don't really agree with the exhausted comment. Come on, these are professional athletes. They have played 90 minutes of football, not run a marathon at record pace. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

They pushed themselves to the limit on Wednesday and looked completely exhausted after the game, then got to bed about 4am on Thursday. Yes they will be very tired.

That is what I have been saying for a while, plus the players have been hinting at it, referencing their training.

It exhausts me reading that they are Our forefathers had jobs that would kill most modern day footballers , who are soft, entitled and overrated . Athletes they are not Not long ago Rugby Zleague lads would work a night shift , get home, get scrubbed then doze on a chair by the fire then play in the afternoon And all without masseurs,, physios and dietitians Hmm

I think the point is that if we use tiredness as an excuse for not winning, we might as well give up now. All the teams have the same schedule.
Swansea City v Burnley : Match day thread on 11:49 - Mar 15 with 1909 views | Swans9 | In certain games like Watford Ronald was nowhere to be seen. We do tend to use roughly the same players all the time so we do look tired. Our squad not as in depth as the top half of the championship. I still think we can get a draw 1 1. If we pass to the opposition and give the ball away as many times as Wednesday we will be well beaten.

Agreed, I think the best we can hope for today is a draw and frankly I’d take that now. There have been big improvements but not enough to get a win against a side who has lost only twice this season. I’ll be watching in hope more than expectation and pleased (though a bit confused) that the game on Swans TV only costs a fiver this week not £10. Anyone know why?

Really You telling me that the likes of Greavrs, Law,Matthew's, Lofthouse ,Charles would be . Nah Ii could have mentioned the kit they played in and on the pitches of the time Imagine EOM on a frozen pitch or a Vetch quagmire on thick shirt, baggy shirt and wooden togs Conditions back then would have killed off all the modern legends
