Watford v Swansea City : Match day thread 19:00 - Mar 8 with 4360 views | ModeratorC | Swansea City going for the sting this Wednesday at Watford 10th Mar 2025 08:00Swansea City head to Watford this week for a midweek fixture at Vicarage Road on Wednesday night (7:45pm) The Swans have behind them three games undefeated and things are on the up. Despite that it isn’t that long ago Swans fans were looking down in fear of relegation. 0 Swans in another giveaway at Watford 12th Mar 2025 23:00It wasn’t the best of performances at Vicarage Road, the Swans seemed unsure and overall unprepared for their second game this week. Their lack of pace as ever evident but also the passing in key areas was some of the worst we have seen in a long while. If it can be compared to that awful January the team had then it wasn’t much better than that. 0

Sheehan has done very well based on a small number of games but is extremely inexperienced as the number 1. And as has been said by a number of people that means we haven't seen him having to cope with really difficult situations yet. That's where experience kicks in. If the new owners are willing to spend a bit i'd prefer going down the experienced champ manager line.

Watford v Swansea City : Match day thread on 08:46 - Mar 13 by vetchonian | I have no strong feelings either way about Sheehan being made permanent. I raised the comment as many fans were calling for him to be given the full time job on the basis of the results from his first two games. I have enjoyed the football he has us playing it has gotbus much needed points but his substitutions are often like for like which others have been slated for or like last night baffling in bringnon the defensive Fulton rather than the likes of Cooper or Allen when we were causing the game and them the 89th minute bringing on of Cooper. Sheehan needs more time to prove himself and we also see how he copes with a blip which every team and manager gets |
I said after his last stint he didn't get a chance to put things right after the bad loss to Southampton, we shall see, it does seem better and it does take time to assess players and we have seen how some players add and detract and some coming back from injury take time and even then we haven't seen enough of the likes of Ginnelly to see where best he fits in the team if he does.As for bringing Fulton on was the thinking to allow Key to push on?
Watford v Swansea City : Match day thread on 11:37 - Mar 13 with 173 views | Azzuriswan | One of the problems last night was that our players were like schoolboys against strong thuggish grown ups who were over protected by a poor referee. And the number of times the bully boys were poleaxed on the pitch was unbelievable....play off material you are having a laugh

It wasnt franco that cost us the game it was the ref, have a look at the challenge in the 3 rd minute, should havebeen a red, he should have been sent off , ref was very poor. their backroom staff knew they stole that one tehy were laughing like heck at the end. Them play off material no chance, it was our season long failing that cost us , inability to score, but it will return I am positive, maybe not this season but the signs are there,
