If we are talking about a new manager would prefer someone with at least championship or EPL credentials. Possibly just a dream.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

No - I don't want a female manager just because of her Gender. If there was one/some who stood out as some ok neni would consider good enough with the relevant experience, then maybe. But there isn't.

I don't care if it's a male or a female, as long as they are good enough! Unfortunately, as there are no females anywhere near the hotseat in our division or above, we probably won't find out which woman IS good enough.

We are at least a generation away from any female being good enough to manage in the football league.

To point out how stupid it is! You threw the question out there hoping someone would say something sexist so you could climb all over them. Just sheer stupidity, grow up.

Well imo a woman wouldn't take any shit off any players, Russian week would be a nightmare, the only problem I have is tactical nous, not many would have enough for the man's game.

Their egos wouldn’t allow them to respect her. The same thing happened when Bob Bradley was here, the players were not going to be told what to do by an American. They paid him no respect, that was obvious.

It’s going to need an introduction at a much lower level before it will get any credibility in the EFL. Even Sarina Wiegman would struggle at Conference Level in old money.

I feel before a female got the head coach job we would need to see female progression in junior coaching roles at clubs. We would also need to see results further down the pyramid. This will not happen any time soon but possibly over time.

This is rage bait.

Also no way would I trust a woman with this job.
We are a championship football team not an experiment.
Football isn’t about diversity and inclusion.

If we were a Sunday league team fair enough experiment but as been as we are a serious club with ambition no chance.
Only club I can remember ever doing it was Dingley for forest green for two weeks in pre season

The world’s best female mangers don’t get jobs even at the lowest levels of football.
Sarina Wiegman Wouldn’t even get a national league job.
Who would be qualified in your eyes?

Emma Hayes?

But god no from me let’s see how an assistant does first we can’t afford to virtue signal

I don't care about Gender. If we thought a manager would be able to motivate players, coach players to be better, and out manoeuvre opposition with tactical nous picking up crucial points, then man or woman doesn't matter.

But I'm not even aware of ANY female coaches in the first team set up of the 72 professional clubs of the English Football league so to think a gem is going to be found and taken a punt on with absolutely zero experience required is laughable.

Genuine question, do any professional teams in the English system have a female employed as part of their first team coaching set up? I'm not talking Dr's, physios, personal trainers, dietician or analyst type roles here, I'm talking those who are out on the training ground improving technical and tactical knowledge through training sessions?
