Linesmman was on oppositte side of the pitch 3 times further away than the ref, and had a player or 2 in his line so couldnt see for certain what happened.
seen it on a clip, from another angel behind the goal Oliver showed no interest on the striker, yet another player displayed horror when looking at him on the floor.
an absolute disgrace of a ref.
What it again, he runs towards the player whilst playing on for about 2 seconds m, he then stops play and goes towards the injured player,
As I've said it happened so quick that no one could know what part of the keeper hit him, when i first watched it without knowing I had no idea what put him down, it was only when i saw the replay that I saw how bad it was, exactly what oliver could see.
Oliver used VAR because he couldn't have known what exactly happened, he saw it once and gave the red card, the player got immediate attention after oliver stopped play about 2 seconds after the incident.
So imo he isnt a disgrace, what he did was spot on.

They are uncatchable and he said that the arrogant pr!ck.
He wasn't being arrogant and isn't arrogant, it was a Derby game and tensions were running high especially after 2 sendings off and for what it's worth I think the decision to award the equaliser was a correct one.

So by saying that if the derby draw costs them the title it's olivers fault (considering that they were iirc 8pts clear and no one likely to catch them) isnt childish and arrogant?
He's worse than ferguson, at least it took a few years for fergie to start intimidating the PL and refs, it's taken slot 7 months, its pretention at it's worst.

Things are said in the heat of the moment, it was the last Mersey Derby at Goodison the crowd is on top of you increasing the tension things were said at that time, Slot comes across very well when interviewed, no way is he anyway like Fergusson.

Tension? He's a manager of a team who are pissing the league.

an absolute disgrace of a ref.
You are probably an absolute disgrace as a refereeing expert.
Mr Oliver has gone through years of training and assessment to become a FIFA referee something you will never achieve.

say it as it is.......has he been to specsavers recently, I should imagine the ref who was sacked recently has completed many years of training, and control of games.......just my opinion ok?
