The owners relieved the club of £124m of debt in January.
Prior to that they did the same with £194m of debt in early 2023.
FFP ? Not worth the paper it’s written on.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Our previous owners could have put the Piroe payment back into the club instead of clearing the charges. We would have had more flexibility with P&S. Foolish or just complete lack of understanding of British football.

Fans see to have advice for foreign owners but none for their own ownership group.. In 2015-2016 buyers were offering £1m for 1% holding and they did not even have a mandate.

The board member told the membership and the world their shares would never be up for sale. I commented on another forum that this was unwise but no on else said anything because they were not shrewd enough or thinking strategically.

"Lack of understanding of British football". The fans had a lack of understanding of basic mathematics. A 10,000% return on their investment was ignored.

FFP doesn't allow them to simply pay off the debt with no scrutiny though. If the debt breaches FFP and they just pay it off there could still be repercussions.

Lets see what happens to Manc City.

The loans were all within the declarations to HMRC. Nothing at all dodgy about them at the time and when they were paid off.

Paying off debt is the fastest way to be clear of debt of course, the Swans may be foolishly run at times when in actual football business as a club but they are very much on the ball with how they have managed loans and debt 👍

Regarding Man City I'm not sure if you are aware of this.
